Red Wing - Westminster, MD

"Been looking at boots for a few months now! Mostly online. Visited Chris's store in Westminster a few weeks ago after visiting another RedWing store sometime around the holidays. Huge difference in experience with Chris and his team! Should have just visited Westminster in the first place! I get it they are just boots! But if I was going to make the investment, I needed to have all the info and buy on my terms. On my first visit to Westminster I let Chris know I will be purchasing boots just not on that day. He did not mind, took his time and brought out two or three different pairs. We discussed my use and he shared pros & cons. Very helpful! I left the store that day and advised that I will do my final research and come back to purchase! Glad to say that yesterday I stopped in advised I will be leaving with a pair on! Asked him to bring out the Crosby and the Traction Tred Lite! He went through the whole process again and did not cut any corners to save time since IU was there a few weeks ago. I ended up leaving with the pair that was 15% more than the other. On my terms. Not by his direction at all. He gave me the benefits of both pairs and the Traction Tred Lite it was!!!! This is my first pair of Red Wings! Chris Saved my purchasing experience with Red Wing compared to the first store I visited! Thanks bud!!! As I grow my business I will definitely invest in Red Wing Boots for my Team and from your store!!! And I guess I can also have more than one pair for me... Right?"

"Buyers beware. I spent $450 in this store last week on boots and tuff toe to protect my boots. After wearing the boots for one day the steel toe ripped through the leather. The owner of the store was giving me an attitude through the entire process. Took away promotions his other employees offered. This guy was going to charge me another $50 for tuff toe because that’s not his problem he sold me faulty boots from the jump. I buy boots in here yearly and will no longer be coming back. That’s not customer service. Update after the rude owner decides to respond. As he’s laughing about the entire situation while I’m in the store. What a clown. Charge everyone all this money for boots and have terrible service when there is an issue. Why should pay $50 again for another tuff toe for a defective product they are selling!!!!"

"Very great service! Extremely knowledgeable about getting the best boot and fit. Every time in the store is a great experience! These boots are worth there weight in gold!"

"Sales person is a liar, sold me boots that he said would suit me but I’ve felt nothing but pain. For expensive boots I’d expect the staff to know what to recommend. This store is a lemon of a location, if you want proper service go to another location. I hope I'll be able to get a refund. I should be able to get one considering while I was in the store he was issuing multiple refunds which makes me laugh because it shows a reputation."

"Super disappointed with the boots maybe 4 months old the toe has already blown out and they hurt my feet like crazy! I stood on the pad to get the perfect fit etc and bought the inserts that were recommended. Still my feet and toes kill me! It’s really unfortunate as I have worn redwing boots for years but it seems as if the quality has gone down hill. It would be different if they weren’t so expensive but for the price you pay I would at least hope they could last a year at the very least. Unfortunately I think I’m gonna have to switch boot companies…."
