"If I could do zero stars I would. DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE. The most traumatizing experience for our dog...and frankly us! We dropped her off at 8am and after 2 hours (what they quoted me even after I told them she was a great Pyrenees) I called and they said she hadn't even had her bath yet, it would be a few more hours. I called multiple times after that and they just kept telling me she needed longer. AFTER EIGHT HOURS we called multiple times with no answer and we decided to pick her up in a panic. When we got there the guy at the front desk WAS SLEEPING and didn't wake up for 30 minutes after us and *other* customers were slamming on the door. We weren't the only people who hadn't heard from Life of Riley all day... To cap it off our dog came home bleeding from her nails and had blood all over her legs. Behind her ears were scabbed where the groomer had completely shaved her hair off."

"Loved our first experience here. I have a Bernese mountain dog and he takes a while to get groomed. I dropped him off at 9:15 and he was done by 11:30am! I loved that he doesn’t sit in a crate waiting to be seen and was done pretty quickly. (Previous places were 4-5 hour window!) They were very nice and asked about the type of haircut / grooming needed and I got to talk to the groomer. Appreciated the transparency and staff."

"I called on Sat and was able to get an appt on Mon. Additionally, the grooming services was of quality and prompt. Brittany V. the groomer got the notes and cut for Fluff spot on. He smelled so fresh and his coat of hair/fur was white. The appearance of the lobby and kennel space is not appealing in comparison to the previos management. The kenmel and lobby was very welcoming with decor. The kennels were displayed as hotel suites and looked comfy and inviting. Perhaps, I shouldn't compare but I've been using Life of Riley sonce 2016 or 2017. However, I would recommend their grooming services. It's been a few years since we've used kennel and daycare. So, I will refrain from speaking on it further."

"Down to earth my type of people personal friendly service and they absolutely love animals. You could feel the vibe when you walk in the door of the love they share for these cuddly cute pet of ours and they treat them like their own when they are with them. My pup is normally very skittish and she was immediately at ease, that sent chills down my spine and I felt so comfortable and so relaxed. Not to mention her handiwork was amazing I got my pup back she look completely different I was surprised at how well she came out this was only her very second haircut and I will never go anywhere else again. If you need a good groomer and I think they do other services too these are the people for you trust a US Vet when I tell you there is no other place you need to go if you're in the area then right here. The groomer was the nicest lady I've met and the woman that met me to put in my information was so sweet and kind you would never expect her to be so loving to a pet she just met but she was. I definitely recommend and if I could give more than five stars I would give infinite. recommend to anyone who doesn't already have a groomer or to anyone who isn't happy with their groomer because these people are the real deal and although the shop is a little hard to find it is worth the search if you're up for the challenge LOL I'm just kidding it's not hard to find I just suck at following directions."

"We took our 5 month mini golden doodle for her first puppy groom and it was a huge success! She came back smelling amazing and the cut was gorgeous!!! A huge thank you to the Life of Riley Rockville team the staff was great from reception to the groomer herself. Will definitely be coming back!"
