"Took my 2 year old last night to the Great Clips in Monroeville and Keera ( not sure if name spelling is correct) was the best hair stylist we could ever ask for. She took time to understand the shape and style of the haircut that we wanted and she was friendly and patient the whole time. Quality haircut. Recommended!"

"I have medium-short hair that is thick and straight so I like to have it scissor cut to maintain the length and keep it from standing up. I first visited this location in early December, and had a great experience, wonderful stylist, great haircut. (That's why the second star) I visited again yesterday, the stylist greeted me, and I told her that I wanted a trim, didn't want to take much off or change styles, just clean it up an even it out. She immediately proceeded to chop it down to less than 1/3 of the previous length causing it to stand straight up. She then neurotically made several strange comments, "Oh, that's a terrible cowlick - people will look at you and say what are you 12?" and "Hmm, I guess I'll have to spit on it or something". It got worse from there when she tried to even things out all around to salvage what we could. She went free hand with a trimmer (no guard), cutting the left side super short, and leaving the back and right side long?? Eventually, I was moved over to the manager (Pat's) chair where she tried to do what she could to help, but it was really too late at that point. Now I'm stuck with a horrible haircut for the next few months until it grows out, and I'll need to find a new place to go. Great store to visit if you already know the stylist, because there are some good ones, just don't come here otherwise unless you want to play bad haircut roulette."

"I came in on Saturday December 2nd to get my head buzzed. Something I always thought was quick and easy. The lady that buzzed my head seemed miserable and was rough the whole time. When i got home I hopped in a shower and was shocked at how bad the water hitting my neck felt. My wife took this picture saying that it looked like i was missing skin. I’ve never been treated so rough by a hairstylist before. Bad service and a bad haircut. The lady that did this also rang me up and didn’t give me a receipt. Probably because she saw what the back of my head looked like."

"I feel bad for giving such a poor review, as my previous experiences with Great Clips have been perfectly fine, but this particular visit was so egregiously bad that I needed to write a review about it. I recently came into the Miracle Mile building for a haircut. I didn’t have my usual hair stylist. The hair stylist I did have, however, was the reason for this poor experience. She spent the haircut cursing, complaining, belittling my hair, and arguing with me about the length I wanted my hair to be cut. I barely said anything to her directly once I realized how abrasive she was being. All of this I could put up with, no problem, people have bad days, I understand that. But this woman cut my hair at least a FOOT shorter than I’d asked. My hair normally goes down to my waist, I only came in for a trim, but this woman intentionally cut my hair to be shoulder length after I explicitly made it clear I didn’t want that. I am incredibly disappointed with this individual, but I do not blame Great Clips as a whole for her poor actions. However, I would suggest that this woman be talked to about her behavior, as this experience makes me far less likely to return to Great Clips in the future. If I could give zero stars, I most certainly would. Unfortunately, I do not know the name of this stylist. She was an older woman, but that’s all that I really know about her.
