"Nice place! Met lots of nice people that were all very kind an treated us like friends. The bartender Renee an the waitresses an cooks were knowledgeable about different places we wanted to visit an gave us some well needed info on a few of them which made our trip more enjoyable. We ate breakfast there 2 times they said they just started doing that 2 weeks ago. We were happy it was 2 blocks if that from the tiny house cabin we stayed in. We also ate dinner there on Wednesdays they have $7 pizzas an $1 of a lb./6 wings the wings were very good an big the pizza wasn't too bad. They have 2 pool tables my wife an I played on they just redid the floor in the pool table room it looks nice. They warned us they hadn't leveled them yet an they have a crazy roll but it was still fun. They also have an electronic dartboard an 5 pa skill machines. You can eat at the bar an they also have several tables an a bunch of tvs to watch sports or whatever they asked if we wanted anything special on we didn't but it was a nice gesture. It was our first time in that part of the state an we throughly loved it the residents made the trip a memorable one an one we will make sure to go back to when the weather is nicer to kayak down the river."

"The West Hickory Sportsman's Bar is a friendly, inviting place with good food. We went on a Saturday around 12:30, for lunch. We had the Ginger Chicken Salad with mandarin oranges and cranberries, topped with crunchy chowmein noodles. A huge, tasty, and filling salad. Chris waited on us with a bright, warm, and attentive manner. The local patrons were fun and friendly. We highly recommend this place!"
