"I went into Sally’s yesterday to get a few things and the girl working there asked me what could she help me with and I told her that it was fine and I knew the area I was going, then she acted like she wasn’t going to let me walk down the isle, I had to say excuse me then I walked past her and I turned around she was watching me. I kept walking to where I needed to go and I went to ask her a question and know I didn’t have to go far because she was in the next isle watching me. I asked her what I needed to ask and of course she couldn’t help so I got what I needed and went to get something else and low and behold she’s walking watching my every move. I’ve delt with a lot of racism in Butler PA but this right here was absolutely beyond anything I’ve been through. I have been in Sally’s before years ago when a lady name Sally was the manager and when she left I stopped going in because they now don’t have anything close to what they used to have for black hair care and the little bit they do have is super expensive. Walmart has a much better selection now I’ll look into buying wax beads and my other products elsewhere. No one of any color should be treated like a thief just because they walked into a store. I spent almost $90 in there. If I didn’t need the things I purchased badly I most definitely would have went somewhere else."

"Anytime I go in here the staff are always really nice and helpful to me. I have been in some Sally’s where that wasn’t always the case so I just appreciate the staff they seem to have gotten in there as of the last few months or so. I’m new to the area so not sure how long the current staff has been there but overall, good experience anytime I go in here."

"I bought a set of Andis hair clippers from here. They were quite expensive ($80), but I didn't mind. Then when I got home, I opened the box and the clippers were covered in hair. I couldn't believe it. Especially with all this Covid-19 stuff going on. So I had to clean them myself and disinfect them before cutting my hair. Other than that, they worked fine. Just couldn't believe the store wouldn't clean them after someone returned them. Kind of disgusting."
