Your friend lied about this establishment and all of you are dragging another WOMAN down over something that wasn’t the business owners fault! She is still a beginner within this career and if I remember correctly your friend was the one having the owner of this establishment sit next to her while doing a set of nails to make sure she was doing stuff correctly because she was nervous! This business owner has done nothing but boost these nail techs and try to give them as much praise and confidence she possibly could! This business owner doesn’t handle the money and wasn’t the cause of this $10 tip mishap! The Beach Nook has great customer service! The discounts and deals that happen every month are to promote and allow you to enjoy the little things. Every community event The Beach Nook participates and spend their own money on things to make the event that much better! The nail supplies are very good quality and the tanning beds are one of the best beds around! Everyone at The Beach Nook is very polite and will do everything to make you feel welcome and comfortable within the establishment. 10/10 recommend for all your nail, tanning, and massage needs!"

"If you want bad nails come here. Take a look how awful the owner is at even the basic, like polishing a nail. Acrylics are even worse. Attitude of the owner is less than ideal. She loves to argue with customers. Her business is failing and she blames her employees even though they’ve only been there a few months. So many people won’t come back, she barely gets walkins and she offers ridiculous discounts hoping to lure people in. My son does better nails than the owner. If you have to discount your services to get business, ask yourself why. She can’t take constructive criticism and blames everyone else for her misfortunes."

"this salon doesn’t pay their nail techs their credit tips, nor do they give an hourly rate to the techs, but they expect them to check in the tanning clients, clean the tanning beds, getting their paperwork started, and answer phone calls. nail techs only get commission plus tips which means they shouldn’t be doing other chores. do some research on facebook and see the quality of nails that the owner offers you. they’re terrible and you could get better quality from a beauty school."
