"Denham is hit and miss. I’ve had more bad haircuts there than good cuts. Staff is friendly and the salon is a nice environment, but in the past couple years I have had to get my cut corrected elsewhere after a Denham visit with different stylists. The main thing is the stylists don’t check their work. This is a chronic problem at a lot of salons with young staff. I regularly walk out of salons with a $50 haircut and my hair is uneven around different parts of my head because the stylist didn’t bother to review the cut for consistency. I think younger stylists are more about creating an Instagramable look instead of just delivering a basic correct cut."

"This place rocks. I usually cut my own hair, but haven't in almost a year, so the stylist that saw me (Cayla) had to deal with the aftermath of that on top of everything else. she cut it exactly how I wanted (even better than i wanted tbh). Would definitelyyyy suggest this place to a friend. Super reasonably priced too!!! not to mention it's beautiful in the salon :)"

"I have never left a Google review before, but my experience at Denham & Co was so wonderful that I must. The staff at Denham are incredible - my dad died suddenly last week and we traveled back home from out of state to Pittsburgh for the funeral. My mom and I needed blow outs and with such short notice and the holidays, everyone was booked solid everywhere we looked. I reached out to Denham and they not only accommodated both of us, but did so with empathy and kindness. My mom and I have very thick hair so this wasn’t a simple request as it takes time and skill to work on our hair. Marianne blew out my mom’s hair and my mom is raving about it - how kind Marianne was and how much she loves her blowout. Cassie blew out my hair and she’s great - so funny, warm, and kind. And my hair looks like a million bucks, which makes me feel like a million bucks! If I still lived in Pittsburgh this would be my go-to salon. They stylists here are so skilled and the space is beautiful and open and inviting. Thank you to the Denham crew for your kindness, professionalism, and great work. Next time I’m back home in Pittsburgh, hopefully for a more positive reason, I’ll be sure to add Denham to my list of must-visits."
