"This was a very good experience. My girlfriend and I went here for our anniversary on the Monday the 27th. The food is very plentiful, the staff was all extremely friendly and helpful, and the service was great. I had never eaten in a place like that before, and I felt pretty comfortable and content. The servings were large for the price and the dishes came with rice, tea, and water automatically, so it's a good deal overall. Everybody was friendly, the place was clean and they were right on it to clean the tables as guests left. They also give a bill for each member of the party so you can pay separately which I think is really awesome. I had a good time, and would recommend Chinatown Inn to anybody looking for a good spot for Chinese food in downtown Pittsburgh."

"Solid restaurant. Ate here twice this week and both times I had to send back the giant egg roll as it was not hot in the center, which was highly disappointing because they have fresh mustard. Both times it was made right, but I won’t order an egg roll a third time. I would, however, come back for good food. Don’t expect the fella bringing your tea to be polite, do expect the tea to be tasty."
