"Senate Hair Care (SHC) Services is a very interesting barber shop/salon. It is located inside one of the Senate Office Buildings (Russell) and near the Capitol building. It is a full service salon for men and women. You do have to go through security to get into the building, but I believe it is worth the effort. Here's the most interesting part of this. There's two gentlemen by the name of Mario and David. These two combine provide for once 80 years of experience between them. Mario has been with SHC for about 42 years and David is about 40 years. They are great conversationalists. There are five stylists. They are all willing to take a walk in, if they don't have a scheduled appointment. They'll take "emergencies" even with a scheduled appointment. I do highly recommend getting an appointment because their schedules tend to fill fast, even being in a government building."
