"Today was the first time Ms. Adia braided my hair. As long as I live in this area, I will ALWAYS go to her for braids. Not only was she very kind and pleasant, she is a MASTER at her craft. The quality of the hair she used was awesome and each and every braid is PERFECT! She doesn't just braid you and push you out the chair. She takes the time and displays the care to groom your braids. She even curled them for me (that has been very hard to find). I am SUPER IMPRESSED with her and hope that this encourages ALL who read this to either stop by her shop or give her a call. "You shouldn’t feel like you’re inconveniencing the stylist by having an appointment, yet, here we are. The stylist consistently don’t remember you have appointments scheduled, will tell you one price over the phone, then when it’s time to pay, charge you over double for a rushed, untidy hairstyle (4 cornrows went from $40 to $90). On top of this, some of the employees seem irritated by hair in its natural form and will quickly say your hair is not detangled and use a blow dryer on dry hair to straighten it. I’ve given it three stars because I’ve gone a couple of times with decent experiences, but the negative do outweigh the good. I hope others have better experiences than me."
