"Stopped here for lunch. My wife had the burrito and I had the #12 lunch special. Chips and salsa were good. Food was excellent. We moved from Texas this past year and the food here compares very favorably to what we could get there. Prices are as good or better than other Mexican resturants in the area. Our server Alex was great, friendly and quick. Best Mexican food we have found in the area. Nice place, clean, modern, comfortable."
"I almost don't want to rate this place to keep it a secret. It's so good, staff is great, food is great - authentic with big portions. They have a good bar you can sit at or a dining room if you have a bigger party. Love this place! I eat gluten free, they can definitely accommodate that with corn tortillas."
"I unfortunately had an absolutely awful experience there this evening. I never usually write reviews, but this was horrible. There was a bone in my birria (pictures attached) which I nearly choked on. They offered to give me “half off” my entree for nearly choking on a bone almost as long as my pinky finger. My husband ordered the burrito la calera and the shrimp were rotten. It came with four shrimp in the burrito and he had to spit them into a napkin. The waitress told us “there’s nothing I can do, he ate it” which was not the case as his shrimp had to be spit into napkins. I am incredibly disappointed in this experience and will never go back. There are many Mexican restaurants that are much better nearby. It’s also truly horrible how they handled the situation. I would at the least expect a manager to come out and apologize to us for the dangerous food that was served to us, which did not happen. Truly disappointing."
"Best churro I've ever had, and I'm from Texas where I've had lots of authentic Mexican and TexMex food. I really appreciated their Central American options and enjoyed the Salvadorean pupusas and Honduran carne asada. My fiance loved the seasoning of the beef in the Texanas fajitas. Great chips and salsa, excellent alcoholic and non alcoholic beverage options, and amazing service. I recommend the Watermelon Jarritos and Peach frozen margarita. The inside is also beautiful and spacious with a great atmosphere. My family and I will be back."
"Went for lunch...large portions, the salsa and chips were okay. The salsa with onions had very little onion flavor, like they do something to make the onions not be strong. Perhaps that's so people's breath isn't offensive when they head back to the office? I think that was our major take away that there wasn't any kick of flavor we were hoping for. We will go back to try other dishes. We had a very friendly server and dishes came out quick and fresh."
