"So far the worst bank i have seen. Shouldn't even be a bank. Old technology, unable to promptly and quickly assist customers. Rude customer service and prolly the most unprofessional bank i have seen. There are too many other and better banking options for anyone to settle for this bank. Be smarter with YOUR money. "We applied for a commercial mortgage with Luzerne Bank. The process dragged on for months. The loan officers could not construct a properly worded & punctuated email. They could not return a phone call in a punctual manner. If you are looking for professionalism, do yourself a favor and find a different bank. They kept asking for more paperwork and contradicting themselves. We were informed that we were approved for the mortgage and the bank ordered an appraisal which we paid for. In the end, after a week of being ghosted by several loan officers who I was calling and emailing daily, I had to physically go to the bank. The president of the bank took me into a dummy-office and explained that the bank was denying the mortgage. They refunded the money for the appraisal. Their own gross incompetence and lack of professionalism literally cost them $585 and provided us with a free home appraisal. Over the many months of this process we jokingly referred to them as "Looser-ne Bank". In all honesty, I am not a review writer, and I have no axe to grind, but if you are looking for professionalism, competency, good communication & efficiency, I urge you to do yourself a favor and find a different bank."

"Just been difficult from the beginning. Today called asking about car loan for business. They took info said would call right back. That’s 9 am. Called back at 1. They transferred me to a different branch. Was told busy call you back. Called back at 3. Was told with customer call back 10 minutes. I called back at 7. Want to come in and close accts. Local credit union I guess is a better place. Great bank if you do not need them. If you need something don’t hold your breath. Today was a very bad experience. Could have been handled better. All I needed was a sorry things got out of hand today. I got sorry to busy. Call you back. Yep business acct. say bye bye. Personal checking. Say bye bye. Oh wait family personal checking. That’s two more to say bye bye. Savings acct. bye bye. We wanted to grow with bank. We have two commercial properties we owe nothing on. We could take the money from checking and buy vehicle which is what we’re going to do. Very disappointed"
