"Great food, friendly service, reasonable prices. It is nice to still eat at a place that doesn’t charge ridiculous prices for their beverages! Too many places try to increase revenue by gouging their guests for a cup of coffee or other drink."
"We stopped by for the first time today for lunch at the Countyline Cafe and it was a pleasant experience! It's a hometown restaurant with good prices, good service, hospitable, and very good home cooked food. I had breakfast with 2 eggs, 2 sausage links, 2 pieces of bacon, 1 slice of ham, home fries, and two large sized fluffy perfectly cooked pancakes. The lady working there also gave me strawberry jelly she made herself to put on my pancakes and it was so good too! My husband had the Roasted Turkey Sandwich with fresh cut fries smothered in gravy. And I could not pass up the homemade chocolate cake with peanut butter icing filling and iced on top. It was so good and so moist! It's the first time in a while I ate an entire piece of cake after a meal! We will definitely make this stop more often when we are over that way as it was well worth it in more ways than one!!"
"It was a very nice place. Everybody in our party love food. Waitresses were really friendly, The sausage Seem to be not mass-produced. I enjoyed the bacon so much that I ordered a BLT and ate that too"
"I wanted to 5 star this place sooo badly. Heading home from Erie toward Pittsburgh i found this for a breakfast stop and it was a perfect location off the beaten path. Walked in and loved the look and feel of the small country kitchen. Service was friendly and fast. Only issue came with the food sadly. Ordered eggs over medium and hashbrowns and the egg was cooked so long it was a bit rubbery and the yoke dry as a bone. Probably the most well done egg I ever was served if I'm being honest. The hash browns for all of us were also cooked with a blackend char on the outside that I'd consider burnt. No golden brown..just black. I looked around and from othersnplatea that seemed to be the norm. Scrambled eggs and bacon were great. Pancakes also great and omelet pretty good. So maybe the burn on the hash was just a preference for cooks taste? I'm not sure but I did eat it and it had flavor...but I think golden brown is a better norm for me. The egg...it was unacceptable and looking back I should have just sent that back but hate doing that anywhere...especially a smaller joint that's trying to get all the orders out. Anyway...give this place a shot. Honestly. Even with over done eggs we enjoyed it and I'm glad I stopped here. Maybe just ask for hash to be golden brown and go with over easy on the eggs. There are a bunch of really nice country signs and such hanging on the walls that are also for sale so lots to enjoy here for atmosphere, personality and price. If I'm heading past on 79 I'll stop in again for a redo."
