"My husband and I bought a living room set from here 22 months ago. Since the purchase we’ve had nothing but problems. Fabric has ripped at the seams several times, flat cushions have had to be replaced and today I noticed yet ANOTHER rip in the cushions. Their solution is to sew my cushions back together. I do not have young children mistreating my furniture or animals destroying my furniture. I don’t even allow people to lay on or sleep on my couches. If you knew me, you’d know this is not due to anything I have done. Thankfully I purchased the protection plan, which only provides me when a sewn up, rigged up couch and loveseat for 2000 dollars plus the cost of the protection plan. I was also told before my purchase that this was one of their “better” sets. So, If you choose to buy furniture, don’t go for their low end anything. Because this is what high end got me. And the service is also less than desirable. When I’ve had to call, I end up only having luck going in store to talk to a manager. I’m always told I “can’t” speak to a manager over the phone. I’ve had better luck with value city furniture. Picture included for reference, don’t buy this set!!!"

"We have been using Powell's for about four years now and couldn't be happier with the quality and service we receive. We have bought several furniture pieces from them and also ordered a nice book case that we are very happy with it. Due to severe health issues, I can no longer sleep in a bed I have to sleep in a recliner so we purchased a top of the line power recliner about six months ago and it has been a blessing to me. The delivery staff is also wonderful to deal with and kind and respectful. We have also had to have the service gentleman come out to fix a scratched item (I apologize I forgot your name) and he was very pleasant to deal with. The best furniture store in Spotsylvania County for sure. Update: 8/23/23- Had a beautiful mahogany dining table and buffet delivered today. Last year we bought another HomeStretch powered recliner (best recliners I have ever owned), another recliner the year before. We love Powell’s; the products, the customer service, all exceptional."

Jimmy Powell introduced himself and has an amazing crew. Not to leave out the managers, office crew, delivery schedule people, and delivery crews themselves.
