Chef Ray's Diamond Bar and Grill

"Happy hour 4p-6p. $1 off beers, 1/2off apps. Tuesdays are wing nights at .50cents a wing dine-in only. We went on a Wednesday at happy hour time. Got a burger and fries, Ceasar salad, 6 garlic parm wings and an order of provolone sticks plus 2IPAs. Everything was phenomenal. We will be back!! Great service, everything was clean, well lit, beautiful atmosphere with fun decor! It was a spur of the moment decision, never even heard of it until we were driving through town and saw it (we live roughly 30min away). Would love to see more customers next time!!"

"Extremely rude on the phone then when we went and got our order they kept our change. A couple outside was talking about how bad the food was. We ordered a burger and Perogies... The burger had a slight fishy taste but the real kicker was the "perogies" I was asked on the phone boiled or fried and I wanted them fried. I was shocked to open the box to find gooey dough with mashed potatoes inside covered in white sauce. Huge let down because chef Ray would be extremely disappointed!."

"We were so excited to try Chef Rays Diamond Bar and Grill. I ordered the Potter burger and my husband the fish dinner. The burger was very good maybe a tad too much BBQ sauce but otherwise very tasty. The fish was HUGE and my husband enjoyed it. One of my pet peeves with any restaurant is when the salad comes right out of the refrigerator. It was too cold for my liking, hurts my teeth. Even though we enjoyed our meal I had to take a star away because when the check came, all the prices of the items were different than what is stated on the menu. Turns out they automatically add 3% to the bill without making that clear anywhere. I completely understand a different price for cash or credit but we always pay with cash, if we didn’t say anything we would have been overcharged. They need to make this charge transparent to their customers. Like many other restaurants these days, the bill shows two payments. Chef Rays just adds the 3% without notification."

"My wife and I are from Pennsylvania and was in the area and was looking for a place to eat dinner! A friend who owns a business on the opposite corner (Our Vintage Memories Antique Store) that we were visiting, recommended this place to eat! A short walk down the street and we were here! Place had just opened up three days earlier and was all new and fresh. Place has the look on the outside of a fire station and the inside was spacious and airy! They have a lot to choose from and some unusual items on the menu that one does not see everyday! I got the jumbo wings and my wife got the stuffed banana peppers which were both great by the way! Prices are reasonable and serving sizes are large with great service by the staff! If you are in the area try this new place for sure!
