"Lovely little homemade restaurant. Very family restaurant vibe. Walls littered with cool old stories or interesting things. Love the old Almost cobblestone house feel. Wood floors. Brick walls. Good beer special, dinner was good for price $14-$15 for our eggplant and pasta dinner and same price ($14) my chopped sirloin dinner with mashed potatoes and salad. Overall expected a real steak cut, not a Salisbury style steak,… and the eggplant was decent,… I’m Italian and know quality fried eggplant more than most. But overall still 5 stars because the servers did awesome. Constantly checked on us. Various servers made rounds. Very polite. Also respect the conservative vibe with honoring military and other things."

"I used to work here in 2000-2004 Pat and Sandy owned it then!! So many good memories in my teen years they were family, all the Christmas parties every year if you ever needed them they be there!! RIP Pat!!!"

"Came with a large group of friends and had delicious food and excellent service. Choices were so plentiful that most of us had difficulty in deciding what to order. Chicken and dumplings were the special, and enjoyed by those who ordered them. Prime rib steak salad was piled high with meat. Seven out of ten of us took home plenty for lunch tomorrow.Only downside was condition of the parking lot. Very broken up and made walking feel unsafe."

"I got the deep fried seafood platter, seafood bisque, and carrot cake. The fried cod was fresh and very tasty. My husband got today's special, fish and chips, and homemade apple pie. Very friendly owner, not just typical bar food. Also a variety of innovative cocktails."
