Reviews of Friendship Hill National Historic Site
"Very pretty! The home is only open on weekends in December but we still enjoyed walking the grounds."
"one of my favorite destinations to bike during summer and fall from Morgantown. They have park benches and a gazebo in close proximity."
"I am a fan of the National Park Service and plan to stop at any location near my trips. This place is a tribute to Albert Gallatin who is best remembered for his thirteen year tenure as Secretary of the Treasury during the Jefferson and Madison Administrations. There is a short walk through the house and several trails around the Park."
"Amazing national park site! It doesn’t come off as the most interesting location, but it was on my list so I visited: I was awestruck! There’s lots of history, intrigue, connections to the foundational years of the USA, and amazing grounds! I wasn’t expecting to take a hike but ended up going on one anyways! Was hot and sweaty, but I really enjoyed it and the views were phenomenal! I plan on going back in the fall when the weather cools and the leaves start to change!"
