"A cute little park! It’s fenced in which is great for littles! Right next to the river. You can walk down and see the ducks!"
"Beautiful and peaceful place to chill by the water, or hangout & play at the playground !!"
"Yesterday after Joshua and I had a great lunch, we decided to check out the Edith B. Barill Riverfront Park & Trail in Star City area of Morgantown. The park is free to enjoy. There is plenty of parking. Some decking style docks along river to stroll, a gazebo, a few shelters & picnic tables (no grills) there is a very nice bathroom facility near the oversized Children's fabulous playground with swings. Plenty of signage depicting the history with photos along with name plaques for the trees. Some beautiful wildflowers and wildlife including plenty of ducks with babies. Definitely a great little place to enjoy some fresh air. There is also a shaved ice truck and you can rent paddle bikes for the river. Several nice memorials including one of President JFK"
"Awesome little park to take the kiddo. He love to play on the playground and have a picnic. There are nice restrooms and plenty of parking. There are times this is a pit stop for me when I am riding my bike with the kiddo. There is a bike repair station if needed."
"We like this park on cool days because sunshine goes right through and it’s not shaded. It’s closed off except from one side so i don’t have to worry about my kids leaving the park from the back side. The mulch is old tires and kind of odd. I don’t like the sand pit because there is something like fluffy filling in there once my kids go deep enough. They always try to get in that sand pit."
