"Great local restaurant with excellent food and service. The chef keeps it interesting with new specials weekly along with a few fan favorites built into the rotation. My parents crave the nachos daily and when they don’t feel like cooking dinner BlackStone is their go-to. No bells or whistles in the decor but a consistently good experience."

"During riding season I on any road am always looking a eating establishments and this one caught my eye, the parking lot was near full capacity which means it must have good eats so I added to my list so next time I'm in the area I will make a stop here. a few weeks later I happen to be in the area and it was dinner time and came here with my family of 5. This place did not disappoint we all had something different at the table and everyone was happy. The establishment is very generous with portions and prices were reasonable."

"My friend and I decided to try Blackstones Restaurant on Rt.46 in Hackettstown today. Boy, were we in for a real treat! She and I both got the split pea soup and bar non, it was the best I'd ever had! It was loaded with bacon and potatoes and carrots! It had croutons and, of course, the split pea broth. We both had the delicious Caesar salad. I had the Chicken penne vodka and she had the Chicken Saltimbocco. Both dishes were excellent! We both had plenty to take home for another meal!"

"Needed to waste time, so I stopped in for lunch. Had the chicken schnitzel with pierogis. Food was great and the serving size was more than I expected. Wish I had "saved room" for a dessert. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. The staff, not sure if that's the right word, because they treated me like a friend you have known for a long time. All around excellent experience. Will definitely be back."
