"A 5 star meal every single time. They do a great job either downstairs at the hibachi tables or upstairs for sushi. The sushi is also top notch. Kevin is attentive to his patrons and is hands on in whatever task needs done. Excellent!!!"

"Hands down some of the best sushi I've ever had. Very fresh and service was fast! BYOB, our server even brought us an ice chest. Highy recommend the tempura cheesecake with fruit fpr dessert! It was a perfect dinner and experience."

"Heard a lot of great things about Fujiyama and finally after years was able to experience. The food was great. I love how they include both noodles and rice with your order. The salad dressing was the best I have had in a Japanese Restaurant. They have taken over the #1 spot on Scary Good Eats for Hibachi in 2023. I will be back soon."

"I normally always have hibachi downstairs, and always love it. I’ve had a few instances where they didn’t understand or fully accommodate my allergy, they have gotten better with that. Tonight, my boyfriend and I sat upstairs for my birthday dinner. Food was delicious, both of ours; buffalo roll, why not roll, and the filet mignon & shrimp hibachi combo. However, everything came out extremely fast and my food was not even luke warm. I’ll be back to try it again hoping it is hotter!"

"Delicious sushi restaurant in Hackettstown. Decent prices and a huge list of rolls. We had a couple appetizers and 4 rolls, which we all enjoyed. They also have vegetarian roll options. We came towards the end of the evening but still plenty of time to be seated and order before the kitchen closed. The staff that evening unfortunately rushed us through our meal. I wouldn't judge the restaurant on one interaction, but it is something they could work on."
