Reviews
"I hate giving bad reviews, but this place really deserves it. The staff are extremely rude and unfriendly and don't bother greeting or even looking in the direction of customers. They refused to take my order and insisted I place the order through a computer screen. They even snapped at me when I questioned why they would ask customers to order that way rather than take the order in person. The tables are filthy, covered in encrusted ketchup stains and pizza crumbs, and the staff doesn't bother cleaning them. We had to clean our table ourselves as it was too dirty to eat on and none of the staff seemed to care. There were also dried, melted ice-cream stains encrusted on the chairs. The bathroom is disgusting, with urine all over the toilet seat and rotten, collapsing ceiling tiles hanging down from above. There was also no soap to wash hands with by the sink. The pizza is very average. Nothing special. The only thing this place has going for it is that it's one of the only year-round Kosher pizza shops in the Catskills. Thank G-d there are other year-round Kosher pizza shops in the Catskills with friendly service and sanitary conditions. I personally recommend Natures Delight which is just a few blocks up the road on Broadway in Monticello. I sincerely hope this place gets their act together, as I definitely will not be patronizing them again so long as they run such an operation."
"A very good year round kosher Is pizzeria and cafe. The food Is fresh and service is friendly and quick."
"I was there last night…Delicious pizza! The owner is super friendly. Pizza is not spicy but reg sweet tomato sauce as they said!"
"Stay Away I was very disturbed by the entire experience with Casa Cava. I placed my order online, so that when I get there, I can quickly pick up fresh pizza. I arrived at the time that was given to me when I placed the order. I requested my order of pizza, and the guy at the counter grabbed pizza from the bottom of a stack of pizzas and placed it in a box to hand it to me. I noticed the pizza man was removing a fresh pie so I requested a fresh pie and was told by the guy at the counter that after 10 more pies, he will give me my pizza. “There was no one else waiting for pizza.” My sin was that I asked for a fresh pie. He then tells the pizza guy taking out the fresh pie to place the fresh pizza in middle of the stack of 10 pies “with the intention that I don’t get the fresh pie. He then handed me a cold pie and carried on. I tried to complain to someone that seemed to be a manager, who told me that “If I am not happy with the service then I should buy pizza elsewhere” I did not eat the pizza as it was COLD and will never shop at this place again. I usually write only good reviews, but I was so disappointed that I wanted to warn others to stay away."
