"I had stew chicken, beef, & goat in which it was very dry. The jollof rice had burnt smell and taste. This was the worst food I experienced in quite some time. I was highly disappointed. Never again. I understand now why their rating is 3.6...smh I threw my food in the trash."
"I got banga soup and this is what I got. What act of wickedness is this. If you can’t cook something then don’t offer it. How do you expect someone to eat this. It looks like an empty pot that was rinsed and poured to be served. It doesn’t look like banga, don’t taste like it. I don’t know what they gave me but it went straight to trash"
"We were determined to grab some Naija cuisine while in Baltimore so we headed out to KingsWay. Environs were clean and neat and the food was well displayed. I ordered pounded yam with Edikaikong and loved it. Had their goat meat pepper soup too and it was on point. We ordered meat pies to go and those were great too. Totally great experience there."
"I come here if I do not feel like cooking west African dishes but want to eat it. The food is alway made fresh and taste is average, they excel in their baked goods like puff puff and meat pies. My last take out was disappointing. The meat stew looked and tasted watered down as though water was added to increase the volume which is terrible if true or not. The beans again is missing the condiment and sauce which was paid for. When asked I at pick up I was told they do not have(then stop selling it). The yam porridge taste extremely bland compared to its true Nigerian recipe. The yam porridge I received was just yam cooked in watered down Nigerian tomato stew. For $16-17 I should expect some tasty or yummy additions like shrimp, cuts of onion and tomato, seasoning, etc, at least it was fresh and cooked throughly. I was prompted to write this review after the young man who answered the call proceeded to hang up on me when I was speaking about the beans not coming with its assigned condiments. If the restaurant is closed please do not answer your phone to then hang up due to a customer gripe on missing food items and concerns."
