"Recently rejoined after 10 years. What a mistake! I remember the shoppers not always being friendly from 10 years ago. That’s fine, can’t controlled the customer base. The employees however, they need some more training. First, we were screamed at by a lady giving samples. We stopped our cart at the end of an isle instead of just darting out in front of others. The sample lady turned and starting screaming at me. Of course, I was confused what she was yelling about so I told her I’m not sure what she’s talking about. She then proceeded to yell at me because other people were taking samples before they were ready. Keep in mind, I didn’t want her dry crackers and never took my hands off the cart. Finally, I had enough of her unhinged behavior and wished her the day she deserved. She promptly wished me the same. We get to the checkout and the cashier refused to sell us some danishes because they were buy 1 get 1. We only needed/wanted 1 pack of 4. Cashier and the helper got very rude and pissy because we didn’t want 2 packs. After a little back and forth we demanded they just keep their danishes. After that experience as a “new” member, I never want to go back. Do better, Costco!"

"The store was busy today, but checkout moved quickly. They have very friendly and professional checkout staff. I found almost everything on my list. Sometimes disappointing, I do acknowledge that certain Costco product offerings change often, probably based on customer buying patterns and product pricing and availability. Still, what they have is good quality and a diverse choice of food, clothing and other household items. Membership has its privileges!"
