Condon Skelly: Collector Vehicle Insurance

"This company is Mickey Mouse and hire people that don’t know what they’re doing. I’ve had this policy for several years. Every once in a while, I will get a different car and change it out without any problems…Until I talked to an agent named Katelyn H. She did not know what she was doing at all, and turned what should’ve been a very simple thing into a giant waste of time and energy that resulted in me getting my policy canceled. The situation was this: I traded vehicle for another one, all I wanted to do was switch from one car to the new one. Simple. She was asking me about coverage and I said do the same as the one taking off because I traded it I.e. you need collision and comprehensive because it’s a classic policy. She proceeded to tell me that all you need is liability. This was news to me because in the 30 years I’ve been doing old cars that has not been the case. I said OK, put them all on liability because it would obviously reduce my premium. She put me on hold for a few minutes and then when she came back on the line was very combative and was alluding to I was committing some kind of fraud. It was really bizarre. Then she demanded pictures of all the other cars that I had and them in the garage and my declaration page for my regular insurance. I complied, sending them out via US mail the next day. Almost 2 months go by I hear nothing. Out of the blue. I got a cancellation notice in the mail. I called them, Apparently they lost some of the pictures and resent the ones they lost. I played phone tag with this Katelyn person, and she became very “rude and nasty” with my wife. I was not going to deal with Kaitlin anymore because she is incompetent and “mean and nasty” and I have no desire to yell her with several choice words, so I started dealing with some other nice lady. In the mean time this katelyn H put the policy in for cancellation. Please Note: I just read the other reviews. Apparently they don’t pay out if you have a claim. Good thing I never had an accident in the many years I had this policy."
