"I am disappointed in the lack of consistency in the temperature of the food and cook on the chicken. Today, I got the chicken and waffles because last week it was the best ever! However, today I was told that they couldn’t fry the chicken hard. Like really??!! The chicken being cooked hard is to assure that the crust is crunchy (it wasn’t) that the fat left on the meat is cooked through (it wasn’t) and because it’s a preference that will allow the meat to not be skeptical in its texture (meat greasy, limp and tough to the pull). The waffles were the same, soft and well I always have to heat up for more firmness. Frankly, I don’t know if there’s different cooks or what but y’all keep missing the mark every week. To management - be consistent, allow customers to have preference in the fry if their chicken and get a different syrup that isn’t high in fructose syrup. People want to support you but you’re doing things half-way so it is disappointing to say the least!!!!!!"

"We bragg to all of our friends and family about the quality and the taste of their chicken, OMG it is amazing. The consistency is always there. We recently recommended Crown Chicken to cater our companies holiday party for 260 people, I ordered 350 wings and 150 mix chicken. The chicken was the talk of the party. "Purchased a thigh for lunch today, usually I will purchase a breast but they recently went up in price and I refused to pay $4 for 1 piece of chicken. Anyway I should of really inspected the chicken once I noticed the piece wasn't as crispy. As soon as I removed the skin after a few bites I noticed the meat wasn't cooked thoroughly and still a bit bloody. I tried calling the establishment to make them aware so no one else eat half cooked chicken. But each time I called the phone, it ranged out. As this establishment has gone thru a few different owners and employees the quality has declined tremendously. If I do not feel well later today I will escalate this complaint. For the time being I would stir clear of this place. And the fact that the owner or management doesn't acknowledge any reviews says enough about this establishment. RUN RUN fast!!"

"I ordered takeout Chicken and Waffles (6 wings) and some other entrees for myself, my Hubby, and my children for Brunch. When I got home, I noticed the wings looked oddly discolored. I broke off some pieces and ate some and upon biting into it, the bone broke in half. I immediately spit the chicken out and looked at the meat. It looked like Zombie meat!!! It smelled as if it was decaying and refried!!! I almost threw up!!! The wings had an extremely bad, rotting smell! I COULD NOT BELIEVE THIS! I will never be eating from Crown Fried Chicken and Waffle House in Waldorf EVER AGAIN! With all the disease and sickness going on, to even have something like this happen is completely unacceptable!!! Especially when it comes to food!"

"Was a bit disappointed we couldn't dine in. Did not look super clean inside. Guy behind the counter was nice and helpful. Got the 6 piece wings with waffle plus a side of fries. Chicken was OK, big wings, by far not the best I've ever had. Waffle was better than a waffle house waffle, but the fries were dry and disappointing. Overall, not an experience good enough to leave me wanting to retun."
