Sky Bar

"A roof top added part of a local reasturant that offers a town view from above..doesn't make the food any better or the sauce any sweeter or the waitress any faster. Quality of the food is average at best. Speed is about average, and the taste, well mildly below average but decent. Cost of all this is huge. Your paying for that roof addition, not for what your eating. That's the same as always, decent but not jaw dropping. A collage female and her friend will rate this bar high due to her sitting at the rail so guys can view her there, nothing more. Have to pay attention to your order as it's usually wrong and several times was charged twice when using credit cards. So pay attention they will get you twice. Mainly your attended to by today's youth and you know where that attention is, not on you so don't expect much and your disappointment won't be as high."

"My friend and I came here this afternoon (10/11/23) and decided to order the pizza. She loved her cheese pizza while my pepperoni was absolutely the best. The slices are EXTREMELY HUGE with TONS of pepperoni. It made my mouth water. I was like "OMG, best pizza ever". I ordered two slices but I would've been full with just one slice. The rooftop is really cool overlooking Fredericksburg. Our server was very helpful and professional. I would give this restaurant a 10 if I could. Tomorrow will be 2 hours in the gym instead of 1."

"First time in years visiting the sky bar. We had lunch on a Monday. The service was great and the food were superb. I had lamb lollipops and my friend had the original calzone. We stuck to beer and the selection was pretty good. I love the atmosphere and the view. We had perfect weather except for a breeze with gusts that wanted to blow your napkin off your lap every once in a while. Overall a fun experience that I recommend. It can be a popular spot though that I avoid when too busy."

"Food and service were disappointing. I will not be recommending the Sky Bar anymore. This was my 1st time back there since the pandemic. I went today at 11:30 am with a friend. Our server was really friendly, but at times, it seemed like he had forgot about us, to the point that I had to ask for the hostess' help (who was also very friendly). Our entrees did not arrive at the same time, about 10 min apart. I had the chicken caprese sandwich, which was good. But the fries were similar to the inexpensive ones from grocery stores. I still overtipped (29%), simply because serving is difficult, and I don't know what other things were happening that were not the server's fault. Maybe there were staffing issues, and there was also a party going on. I had bragged about the Sky Bar to friends, and were planning on going there in a week with some of them. But after this experience, I will not be returning."
