"I’d love to leave 5 stars but I think 4 will do. I got cut during a pedicure and couldn’t even get a discount on my service even without having my toe nails gel polished due to the cut. That was my only problem with this being my 2nd visit. My first visit I was pregnant and kept getting offered champagne as if it weren’t obvious I was pregnant and just a fat woman with a pregnant belly. I’m not sure if I’ll be back. You’re paying good money for the service you’d think there would be some sort of compassion."

"While the staff was very nice this place is not worth it. They advertise on the website that all tools are new for each client but the nail tech utilized, old/ used files on my natural nails. I also booked the Russian Manicure service and less than halfway through the service I noticed she had no clue what she was doing. She started applying the gel and never pushed back my cuticles or cut my eponychium. I left mid service, paid $47 for gel removal ($40) and one nail extension ($7). I will not be returning."

"Absolute lifesavers! I got my lashes done yesterday at an unrelated salon and overnight and the morning after it became clear I was having a reaction and needed them removed pronto. It being Christmas Eve my original stylist wasn't open much less hardly anyone else but Laveda was! And they had an opening within 30 minutes! The lady I worked with was really nice and sympathetic to my situation which I appreciate. It did not take her longer than 30 minutes to have them removed, she was gentle through the process and talked me through it. Will definitely be returning here for another service in the future"

"Don’t waste your money here it’s horrible quality!! I got gel x here for my bachelorette trip since this is a once in a lifetime event and I wanted to spend the extra money for good quality. Little did I know I would spend $80 for 2 of my nails on my ring finger hand to fall off after 3 days. This was so devastating since it was my bachelorette and everyone wanted to take pictures of my ring finger hand. I spent so much money on my trip and I was beyond embarrassed of my nails. Also they took 2 hours to get done and they still fell off that quickly. I’m not sure if they are just up charging and using cheap or expired products but they should have lasted at least 2 weeks. It has been less than a week now and 5 of the nails popped off randomly. As an example of how bad the quality is one popped off while I was texting. Don’t waste the money I’ve spent half as much and had my nails last for a month. I wasn’t lifting weights or doing anything crazy. I was very gentle with this set of nails and they still fell off easily in less than a week."

"I went to Laveda salon yesterday to get my nails done for thanksgiving. I had never been to this salon before but it had pretty good reviews. I made a appointment to get an express mani and express pedi since I had class in two hours and needed to eat lunch. I get there and the nail tech I am assigned to tells me that the express mani/ express pedi do not include cutting my cuticles nor a massages. The lack of a massage was fine but I was upset about the lack of cuticle care since that is an important part of a manicure/ pedicure and is imperative for the polish to be applied correctly. I thought this sounded incorrect so I looked on the salons website to go over the service menu and point out to the nail tech that on the site the express mani/ pedi came with cuticle care. She tells me that’s not correct and that she would not be doing cuticle care on my nails with the express mani/pedi. I relent and just decided to get the regular mani pedi instead. During my pedicure the nail tech does not massage both of my feet like she is supposed to and I still have a significant amount of dead skin on my feet. During my manicure she left huge gaps between the polish and my cuticles. When I leave I am happy enough with the service and I did not plan on wearing the color for long so I just decided to never go back to the salon because she did an awful job. Also I did not like being mislead about what came with the services and forced to do a regular mani/ pedi despite my time crunch. However, I was planning to just complain about my experience to people in my life and carry on with my life. I would not even be writing this review if my nails were not wildly chipping less than 24 hours after getting them done. Im not sure how I am going to have time to fix them before thanksgiving considering I am traveling all day today. So, I guess I will be meeting my boyfriend’s family with chipped nail. This combined with being forced to get a regular mani/ pedi when I wanted the express one. Just makes me feel like I wasted $80 on a mani/ pedi that was rushed, done incorrectly, and is peeling away as I type this. I would leave zero stars if I could. I am never going back here and I would advise you to find a new salon because this place is not it."
