"6 corn rows- called and was told $60. Got to salon and was then told $70. Price given over the phone was honored. Braids were cute but parts could have been a little more straight and even. Stylist claimed that pictured shown was with uneven parts; I guess! Overall, style was cute but didn’t care for the products used. Products left hair looking as if gunk was in it, and smelled heavy of Pump N Up spritz. Gave me a headache so I know others could smell it."

"I will never go back to this establishment. I called earlier in the day to ask if could come in for a braiding style and was told yes. I raced from work to meet the agreed upon time. When I arrived there were two women inside, one seated and the other handling merchandise. Let me say from the door the vibe of both was unsettling. The woman seated had a perched look on her face and did not even speak. Due to the uneasiness of the interaction I stated I was the person that called earlier and confirmed an appointment. She ask in a harsh tone "how many braids?", I responded maybe 5. She turned to the other and mumbled something in her language, then said "no, I can't do it", still with the nasty perched face. I wanted to respond but to preserve my peace I simply turned around and left. I was professionally dressed, hair maintained, and I make good money. There was no need for the attitude or broken promise. Ppl not of our community come into them seeking the resources, revenue, and support from us but many times daily to deliver the quantity of service we deserve. Not need to agrue with them, I just use the pen. I will never patronize places that don't respect my dollar."

"I’ve been coming here for the past few years, and each time my expectations are met. The owner is always pleasant and the prices are reasonable. My daughter and I prefer Fatima (who is absolutely amazing!!) but all who work there do great work. We both get compliments on our knotless braids all the time. I highly recommend, and will continue to patronize this business."

"Came here at the end of May to have Fulani braids done. My appointment was on a Sunday at 10AM; however, the ladies did not arrive until closer to 11AM. Apparently there were also several other clients who had been waiting in their cars, some since 8AM. Lee-Lee did an AMAZING job on my feed-ins. She was gentle and the cornrows were very neat! I received a lot of compliments on the style. Impressed with the level of service I received on my first trip in May, I booked again for the 1st of July. Unfortunately, my appointment time was at 3pm and no one touched my hair until after 6pm. If I wasn’t going out of town and didn’t need my hair done, I likely would have left. I understand that shops get busy, however the current client scheduling seems overextended, leaving the braiders spread too thin. While I can see waiting an hour or so, to wait 3 hours is EXCESSIVE, in my opinion. (The owner was very apologetic about the long wait). Overall, I really like the shop but my recommendation is to be one of their very first clients as opposed to one of their last. The plus side is that just like my last visit, my hair turned out great!"
