"This hotel is so lovely, I wanted to stay forever! You can tell a lot of thought went into everything on the property. Our room was so beautiful and clean, and we enjoyed the fireplace in the room every day. The shower was so big, and the soaps they provide are incredible, they all smell so good. The complimentary breakfast in the mornings is top-notch, so delicious. The location is amazing, we didn't have to get in the car until we were leaving. Every restaurant, shop, and museum we wanted to see in St. Michaels was within walking distance. It was the best, most relaxing stay I have ever enjoyed at any hotel. This is my new happy place!!"
"This was our first time staying at The Wildset and it was incredible! We chose to stay here for our mini honeymoon and it did not disappoint. The rooms are tasteful and offer a natural relaxing setting. Our room overlooked the back yard/garden which was BEAUTIFUL! The staff was incredibly nice and accommodating (we had many requests) including storing our wedding flowers so that they would remain preserved, helping us rewrap our wedding cake so that we could enjoy it and overall made us feel incredibly welcomed. We plan to stay again next year to celebrate our one year anniversary! Do not hesitate to stay here to enjoy your time in St. Michaels!"
"Beautiful multi-property hotel with luxurious and calming rooms, and lovely landscaped outdoor spaces. The beds are very comfortable and the showers are great. You can use bikes during your stay, and there is a little bike path just down the road. The Wildset is right in the heart of St Michaels, which is a cute little town with shops. It's a little pricey but you get a much higher than average hotel experience. The breakfast and coffee in the morning hits the spot! Only thing I would change is to have blackout curtains, because with all the windows and natural light, the standard blinds don't cut it so it gets very bright in the morning, waking you up earlier than you might want to."
"An email that I had to write to them today… My husband and I stayed over the weekend august 6-7th and this is usually our annual anniversary trip with you all. We have 3 young kids at home, that we aren’t able to get away from often, so this is a real treat for us that we save for all year long. Our visit to Saint Michaels was as wonderful as ever. Unfortunately our stay with you all was much less than relaxing due to the baby in the adjoining room next-door, screaming at all hours of the night, all night long, and all morning the next morning. I mentioned jokingly about not getting much sleep due to the baby next door at check out and I received a “oh no I’m sorry” from the receptionist. However upon thinking about it more, and how our children don’t even cry all night long, the fact that we feel like we are still catching up on our sleep now on Wednesday. I think we should have received more than an apology. We have explained to friends and family that asked us about our trip the situation and they all agree that it was absolutely uncalled for, after all of the money , time off of work and paid babysitters we had to put out to make this trip possible. We are now regretting our stay and do not think that we will continue making this a yearly trip like we had done so in the past. My husband and I were hoping to bring my sister and her husband along next august. However she is now laughing at me saying she would never stay somewhere that she would have to be up all night like that. I write this email hoping that no one else who specifically notes that they are there to celebrate a wedding anniversary and a birthday will have to deal with this situation again. I also mentioned at check out that our room 210 was infested with ants that we ended up bringing back in our luggage and I do hope that you have the room treated. Thanks for taking the time to read this. I very sad that we couldn’t have had our trip on better terms with you all we truly enjoy the atmosphere of your hotel."
"Stayed here for my birthday, it was a very lovely hotel! The design, fabrics, store and landscaping are beautifully curated. Very clean. I loved that they had so many thoughtful amenities. The breakfast was a nice treat, fresh croissants! Also enjoyed dining at Ruse and ending the night at the fire pit! This is a great location to walk and explore St. Michaels! The hotel staff was very welcoming, kind and professional!"
