"$80 for a gel pedicure is a lot. I had to get an overlay on one top because it was cracked but that shouldn’t come out to $80…. Never paid that much in my life for a pedicure. Go to sunflower nails. They do a great job and it’s much cheaper for great quality."

"I just moved to this area and before deciding on where to go for a mani/pedi, I read tons of reviews for the local nail salons. I settled on Calvary Nail Bar, even though it meant driving instead of walking. I called a day ahead for an appointment, and when I arrived for my scheduled time, I was placed with Amy. My nails were in desperate need of help from moving and my feet just wanted pampering. I was disappointed that the salon does not have matching dip/gel products, but they do have a large dip powder and gel polish color selection. And they have Amy, who is a rock star at finding the perfect match! Amy was gentle, meticulous and did a beautiful job on my nails and pedicure. Ask for Amy if you visit Calvary. I am happy to have found this salon on the first try. UPDATE: My nails began chipping and wearing off within days. Not the fault of Amy, who I think was wonderful. I can usually go 2-3 weeks without any problem, so I believe it is the dip product they use. I took a star off of my original rating because of this."

"I used Google to find this salon after my tech my usual salon was running an hour behund. I had plans & an hour wouldn't work. I have 2 lifted nails, so tomorrow was too risky, but not as risky as choosing Calvary. I needed a removal, cut down and acrylic on my natural nails. The tech that started the removal my acrylic was great; smooth, careful filing, and a nice touch. The tech that did my service was "snatchy" & ultimately did a shotty job. During soaking I had to advise her to SOAK my acrylic off, because she began attempting to use a nail tip to pry tge acrylic off. Ultimately, I am very disappointed. My hands don't match. My nails look professional/sporty on one hand, and short childish on the other. She had a perfect canvas to start, as all of my nails were long, even, and I had no broken, cracked or deviated nails. She cut them down. My request was "halfway". My request for acrylic application was "thin". I just wanted a thin, natural application, and even nails with round corners. I got nails that look unnatural, and covered, on top of the disaster failed symmetry. I've read the reviews (afterwards, as I was googling from my car trying to find a walk-in), and it appears this salon is "hit or miss". Mine was a 70$ miss. That's what I get for not reading the low stars & being desperate. I won't give them a 2nd chance, and I warn you honestly. I tipped 15% & learned my lesson."

"Great nail salon! I had a gel manicure & pedicure done by Mindy. She was very friendly, gentle, meticulous & did an amazing job on my nails. The nail salon was clean & modern and was also priced fairly. I would definitely recommend!"
