Reviews of MISSION BBQ
"Awesome service and tender brisket. We were greeted by a cheerful server who helped us put tables together, got us high chairs and set up the kids with coloring pages. I liked all the sauce options available for us to try. Our fries were fresh and delicious. We really enjoyed our experience."
"We ordered the pulled pork sandwich combo with a baked sweet potato and salad. The salad wasn’t fresh but the sandwich was good. Also the ranch dressing was super spicy as I have an allergy to spicy food. I wish they would have said the dressing was spicy because I put it all over the parts of the salad I could eat but it was so spicy I had to end up throwing it away. Ranch isn’t typically spicy so this was a little disappointing. We also got a burger combo with fries. The burger tasted home made but not as smoky as we thought it would’ve been. I wish I would have ordered the fries because they were much better than the slightly spoiled salad. Overall the food is pretty consistent when we go. This was the first time I had something that wasn’t super fresh."
"Mission BBQ at Cherrywood Lane in Greenbelt, Maryland, exceeded my expectations in every way. Opting for the 5 bone spare ribs, fries, and a fountain drink, my $20.19 felt like a worthwhile investment in culinary delight. The service, orchestrated by my delightful host "Linda," was nothing short of spectacular. Her cheerfulness set a positive tone for my dining experience. The manager, whom I had the pleasure of speaking with, exuded humility and impressive knowledge about the menu. The spare ribs were a symphony of tenderness and flavor. Each bite showcased a perfect balance, with the meat effortlessly tearing off the bone. The well-prepared ribs boasted a tantalizing color that hinted at the culinary expertise behind the scenes. The fries were a masterpiece of perfection, expertly cooked to a golden crisp without a hint of sogginess. The salt content was precisely calibrated, elevating the overall dining experience. Accompanying my meal with the classic sweet tea was a wise choice. The beverage struck a harmonious balance of sweetness, aligning perfectly with my taste preferences. Leaving Mission BBQ, I felt thoroughly satisfied and eager to return. This establishment is a culinary gem, and I would recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone seeking a delightful dining experience."
"This is a good place to get BBQ quickly and relatively inexpensive. The moist brisket was really good and the burnt ends were delicious. Some parts of the brisket were cut thick but the flavor was good. The sides are very good. The Mac and cheese is old fashioned and has a great flavor. The cheesy potatoes were a welcomed surprise. They were creamy and very cheesy. Personally my favorite side. Overall we enjoy this place and would definitely go back."
