"I recently visited Nadine's hair braiding salon as it was recommended to me by a friend. I must say that it was an absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a friendly atmosphere. The salon itself was well-organized, and exuded a welcoming ambiance. I was surprised that they were able to do hour walk ins at 4am, but when you arrive it all makes sense ☺️ The braiding stylists that i had were incredibly skilled (rose & i forgot the other woman's name) and knowledgeable about various braiding techniques. They took the time to understand my preferences and offered valuable suggestions based on my hair type and desired style. I went in for passion twists, but instead chose to do Senegalese twists! Throughout the process, they maintained a gentle touch and ensured that I was comfortable at all times. What truly impressed me was the attention to detail and precision that the stylists demonstrated while braiding my hair. The end result was nothing short of stunning – the twists were neatly done, evenly spaced, and exuded a sense of artistry. I received numerous compliments on my hairstyle, and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. Overall, my experience at Nadine was exceptional, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for professional African braiding services. The combination of skillful stylists, a welcoming atmosphere, and outstanding results makes this salon a cut above the rest. I will definitely be returning for future braiding needs and look forward to trying out more hairstyles ❤️"

"DO NOT GO HERE. They do not care about you or your hair health not a tinsy bit. I knew it was tight when I left but I thought that’s just how it is on the first day. Well on day four I found the scab. i let them know. They offered that I come back in and I also let them know that I was in too much pain to get Braids. At the least, I was expecting at least a $25 credit or something. As a business owner its your job to make it right and it’s clear you only care about money. Honestly “convenience”is not worth it. And I’m not wishing bad on them, but you reap what you sow."

"I’ve been to this establishment multiple times, attempting to give them the benefit of the doubt for poor customer service and completing hairstyles that I did not request. Today was nothing new. I understand that this places stays busy but the business operations are absolutely POOR. They tell you one price before starting your hair then once they begin, it’s a new price. This has happened here three times. I do not recommend this salon and would not return. Other cons: unclean, employees do not maintain hygiene, hair utensils aren’t sanitized (at least from my experiences), employees aren’t on one accord. Pros: they move fast …sometimes."

"I don't know where to start... I'm so over these Instagram shops. I absolutely hate my hair. It took 3.5hrs (not under 3 as they claimed. 5:15am arrival on a Wednesday) for them to give me these horrible medium mid back knotless braids. Why are they so thin at the ends? Why did they chop the ends? Why are they two extremely different sizes across my hair. I can not wear these down and have resulted in taking them out (another 3.5hours). Beyond frustrated, $180 + $20 to blend hair + $40 tips... because I'm too nice. Maybe I had someone new to braiding... if so, they should be with a skilled braided. No one wants to throw $240 down the drain after the holidays."
