Super 8 by Wyndham Lexington Park/California Area 22801 Three Notch Road, California, MD 20619

"The rooms need to be updated specially for costing almost $100 and the reason for being so high priced is because they're the only hotel around that still allows smoking roomsbut I feel that doesn't matter cause not everyone smokes So we're paying Close to what we would be paying if we went to La Quinta, which is like a 4 star hotel and super 8, is nowhere near that, but they're charging close to tbut. I've seen nicer super 8 in different areas that do not even charge that high of a think that that is very unacceptable."

"Walked in and walked out 4 mins later. Took them longer to check me in and stare at me than to go to the room and walk out. They offered another room but why would I trust another room? It was filthy and believe me I’m pretty flexible and not usually critical. But wow… it smelled. Sink and toilet were dirty, and the bed was just slapped together with a dirty spread and looked like a college dorm bed. Gonna take me a few days to shake the view of the bathroom from my brain but sure… ok."

"King size beds in the rooms, but seedy and cheap. Staff is willing and helpful enough but not all speak English. Locals roll eyes when they hear your a guest at this super 8. Lots of yelling and screaming by other guests on all floors."

"There were a lot of men who looked high on drugs hanging around outside and in the lobby area that made me feel uncomfortable and unsafe. I felt like I was being stared at and watched. I am very glad I was with my boyfriend and not alone. I do not recommend any female staying there alone unless you have pepper spray at least. The hallways smelled like cigarettes and weed even though smoking was not permitted inside rooms. Our room had one towel and dirty wash cloths folded up on the shelf. One wash cloth even had a dirty foot print on it and holes in it. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. It felt like there was a metal box spring under it that popped every time you got on or off the bed. At least the sheets were clean."

"They would not let me and my service animal stay once I arrived, cause there is a no pet policy. Maryland state laws stated otherwise! After reading the reviews...guess I missed a bullet by how disgusting the rooms are. No night lights in parking lot. Office was out dated. Customer in office saying ice machine didn't work nor his TV. Another customer, they couldn't find his reservation for a king room because they don't have king beds, but the website states otherwise also. But less than half mile is The Laquinta all nice and clean, hot coffee and very friendly front desk person. More for your money than the super 8!!! NO STARS 9/23/2023"
