"I went there for the Djon Djon black mushroom rice. It was salty and more gray than black, not using enough of the mushrooms to give it that authentic Haitian flavor I've grown up eating from Haitian relatives. Mixed up the sides and got the meat wrong on my order. Only had one vegetable option, greens. So, I asked if I could substitute my veggie with pikliz(pickled cabbage/carrot/onion/hot pepper). At first, they brought me 1 of those 1 oz ketchup containers, I said this is my veggie side after spending $65? He gave me 2 more. You can see what it amounted to on the top of my rice. My fried turkey was not salty but had no flavor. My sweetie said the stew goat was also very salty, and he will never go back there, I agree."

"This place was on my list for the longest and finally got a chance to try it. For starters the food is simply tasty ! Just so good. I ordered the djon djon came with a side of plantains. My only thing is I would say the food fairly pricy for what I’m used to - in Florida. For my cocktail, I ordered the punch 9/10. The location is pretty nice. Staff is nice and friendly. Overall 8/10"

"Highly recommended if you are interested in trying Harlan food and drinks. Our order took a while for us to get it but when we finally did, it was totally worth the wait. The drinks are great, make sure you know what you are ordering or ask the waitress/staff."
