"It's a Lovely place and bar, I did like it. The food is good, my favorite was the squash lasagna, The drinks are good, but, the best was our server, I don't remeber her name but she was the nicest and also brought us some free champagne cause it was my birthday! Definitely the best server!"
"Milk bread was delicious- our server was great! Nice atmosphere (well decorated for Christmas). Our entrees took a bit longer than we would have liked to come out. They were all pretty good- steak special for 2 was the favorite. Mushroom toast was colder than I expected. Both glasses of wine we had were very good. I thought it was well priced for what it was, and would come back."
"We wanted to love Vermilion and finally tried it after it reopened. Unfortunately, of the dishes we tried, none hit the mark -- especially at the price and for the micro portions. They did bring us complimentary champagne as we were celebrating our anniversary, which was a nice touch. However, we were disappointed with the menu, with no specials to offer, and especially disappointed in how limited the entree offerings were. Nothing for a vegetarian, except sides of potatoes, carrots, or broccoli (for $9 a pop). There was only one seafood dish for an entree, the yellowtail -- something that we had already tried raw for the crudo appetizer. And that's it -- the rest were meat options. Of course, Vermilion has full say over the menu, but it's 2023, and a lot of people don't eat traditional meat dishes anymore, just saying. We were cautioned away from the prawns, which were $23, for 2 prawns. We tried the octopus, and it was the chewiest, overcooked octopus we've ever had, like rubber. It was just one tentacle sprawled on a plate. My partner said the duck was okay, but not great, especially at the price ($39). The underside was soggy and not crispy, as it should be. We actually had to go find somewhere else to eat after dinner here, as we were both hungry and feeling a bit disappointed. Oh well."
"Delicious dinner. We had the pan con tomate and the fish crudo as starters. I had the duck and my husband had the prime rib as mains. It's the best duck I've ever had. I had a chocolate dessert and my husband had the cheesecake. Everything was delicious, it's a wonderful atmosphere and our server was fantastic. It's a bit expensive, but definitely worth it for a nice night out."
"My family had an amazing experience at Vermilion. I took my mother and nephew for Mother’s Day. From the time we were greeted to the time we left we were truly taken care of. All of the service staff went above and beyond to make sure she had a memorable dinner. The menu was thoroughly explained and the wine was selected with care. The food is fresh and locally sourced. The staff and knowledgeable and friendly. Our server Juliette did a phenomenal job. She was warm and attentive. I definitely intended on coming back."
