"Items missing from our order, bad quality items that were delivered. Yucca fries and plantains were fried in what tasted like week old fry old. Sandwich was missing ingredients, mostly everything went in the trash. The sauce was good lol."

"I’m very disappointed order some chicken from Uber eats they have buy half and get half for free when the chicken got here is stale chicken that was not cooked today. I called and I spoke to someone on the phone and expressed that I didn’t like the fact that they selling stale chicken they should’ve put it in the trash. He just said I’m sorry that means he admit to it… such a shame."

"LOVE this place. Juicy, delicious chicken. Typically we will get the family platter (whole chicken and 3 sides plus sauces). We usually get rice/beans, fried yucca, and fried sweet plantains. They give you a bunch of yucca, spilling out of the bag, and stuff the sides as much as they can in the container. My personal favorite of the sauces is the yellow—I put it all over the fried yucca. I like the pink/orange some as well on the chicken. There is some seating inside, but based on visits, it seems like most folks get their food to go. There are tables outside to eat as well, which is great if it's a nice day. I have also found the employees very nice—I once accidentally online ordered from the wrong location (note that they have 3 locations!) and they took care of it for me and still got me my order here. They also have a rewards program if you sign up for it, and you can earn free food if you eat there repeatedly. And they have an app."

"Horrible customer service!!! I stopped by Sunday night (1/15) and I received the worst customer service. I ordered the 1/4 chicken combo with a salad and beans and rice and noticed that I only received one salad dressing so I asked for another one. The guy at the front refused to give me one and so I asked him why and he said that I have to pay for it. After explaining that I wouldn’t mind paying for it, he still told me flat out no, which was very strange and extremely rude. No explanation whatsoever. I don’t usually go to this restaurant because I have experienced bad service in the past, but it was late and nothing else was open. I live right across the street at the Pearl so it is very convenient to just walk over. However, I just can’t understand why I was treated in such a poor manner. If I didn’t want to pay for the sauce, that would be one thing. But I offered to pay and he still said no and was extremely dismissive. I hate to think that it has anything to do with race, but I find it hard to believe that it doesn’t. Please save your hard earned money, especially if you’re Black. I am telling all of my family, friends, neighbors, and sorority sisters who live in the area and/or visit me not to ever go here. Also, please note that the salad was thrown together and wasn’t sealed all the way, which is a health hazard considering it was in a plastic bag exposed. I took a few photos of the guy for anyone who needs to see who he is. I really hope he is held accountable."

"Just recently tried this place for the first time and I was extremely impressed. The Yuca was delicious especially paired with the sauce they provide. The chorizo was delicious and the chicken was very flavorful. I ordered the grilled combination with yuca, plantains and Peruvian rice. I did not leave here disappointed. “I’ll be back..” - Terminator"
