"Absolutely worst salon experience I’ve ever had - avoid this place as they will try to scam you. I was already unimpressed by the rushed and unprofessional experience with the stylist, but brushed it off anyway. Then, when I tried to pay at the end, the stylist wasn’t paying attention to the transaction and didn’t see that the transaction was approved. It was out of receipt paper and she didn’t know how to look up transaction history on the card reader, so she returned my total amount (but not the tip) so I could re-pay after she stocked the machine w/receipt paper. This was already unnecessary because if she wanted a physical receipt printed, she could’ve just went back through transaction history and did it that way. That’s not even my main complaint. She then proceeded to charge the total amount again (after the unnecessary return process), and RE-entered the tip amount (which she didn’t include in the return); this means I would’ve paid double the tip amount. I tried telling her that and she obviously knew what she was doing, but proceeded anyway. At this point I didn’t even care anymore and was going to pay double tip just so I wouldn’t have to argue and could leave faster. Anyway, my bank understandably rejects the payment for fraud because the same amount was charged two times in a row. I’m glad it did, though, because after finally disputing the fraud notification, I was able to make sure she didn’t try to double tip again. After this unnecessarily long process that should’ve never been an issue to begin with, I try to return a product the stylist had pushed me to buy in the beginning because it’s the least she could do after all this. Mind you, she instantly tried selling me this product when I sat down before even saying anything else. I just said okay because she was asking me to pull up my CashApp before I could even answer lol, but it’s fine and wouldn’t have even ended up being an issue if the overall experience wasn’t so bad. Besides the scammy stunt with the double tip attempt and unnecessary payment drama that resulted in a double charge, the experience before already felt rushed and unprofessional. The stylist burned my scalp/ear multiple times, and when I wanted to try to maybe get more of my split ends trimmed off, she was already trying to get me out the chair. Again, I just kept brushing everything off and let it be, but the completely mishandled payment ordeal at the end that wasted 30 min of my time was my last straw. They never apologized and as a courtesy, could’ve allowed me to return their pushed on product. They don’t care about you and only care about your money. At least the man up front was sweet, but other than that they’re unprofessional (mostly the main stylist) and have the worst customer service ever. Oh, and when I returned home, I also noticed my roots were BARELY straightened— so even their quality isn’t great. I’m pretty sure the hooded hairdryer they had me under wasn’t even on, but they weren’t around for me to tell them. First and last time coming here."

"I reached out to this shop about a month in advance of my appointment. I let Leena (owner?) know I had come off a bad experience and was looking to try a new shop for braids. I asked a lot of questions ahead of time to confirm pricing, if I'd need to bring hair, and confirm my appointment time. She only answered the pricing and appointment timing questions. On the day of my appointment, I arrive at our scheduled time of 9am. When I walk into the salon, no one was there. I waited for about 5 minutes before sending a text to Leena at the same number I made the appt. I got a response at 9:10 stating that the shop wasn't open and that my appointment was never confirmed. She also inquired whether I had paid my deposit after which I explained I was never requested to pay a deposit. She asks me to come back at 10:30 when the braider would be available. I come back at 10:30 and the woman who opened the store thought it was weird I was there at 10:30 since there was no braider. I guess she made a phone call to find out where the braider was and turns out the braider was on her way. When the braider arrives around 10:40/45, she then asks me if I brought the hair. I told her I was not informed I would need to bring my own hair, even after I had asked to confirm. I go down the street and buy the hair the braider requested I purchase. It's now a little after 11am and I am finally seated to begin my braids. It takes about 2-3 hours and when I'm finished, the braider turns me around to check out the end results. I asked for bohemian, waist length box braids. The braids were definitely waist length, but the curled pieces stopped about halfway down my head. I asked her if she could fix them and she crocheted in more curly pieces of hair, but because the pieces weren't long enough, I had layers of curls starting and stopping all the way down my braids. I finally gave up asking her to fix them and decided I'd just take out the curly pieces when I got home and rock the box braids alone but unfortunately, the front section of parts was so badly done, I couldn't even leave those in. Leena took $50 off the final price given the fiasco with scheduling, but I find it hard to believe she saw the finished product and was proud of that work walking out of her salon. I texted her again when I got home after I took out the braids, in an effort to talk to her about my experience and come to a resolution together. I left the shop kind of mad and did not want to speak with her live while my emotions were running high. She told me she'd call at 7pm, then texted at 11pm stating the store was busy and she could call me then or the next day. I opted for the next day given the hour and she agreed. It has been a full week and I've still not received a call. I was hoping we could have worked something out given the poor communication and poor service, but here I am writing this review instead. I would not recommend this salon. Leena was there when the braider first turned me around to review the final product when the curls only went half way down my head and said nothing. You can also see in the pictures that the ends aren't sealed. They began unraveling as soon as I got to my car. The quality of work was poor, the customer service was even worse, and the price for the braids in my opinion is steep specially when your customer is paying for their own hair AND washing/blow drying ahead of the service. I wish the business luck but I will definitely not be back."
"I was able to sit in a chair as soon as I arrived which is everything to me because I work long days. My stylist was Eva and she twisted and styled my locks, which are very long, in 2 hours!!! I must add she did an amazing job. 5 star service!"
"This place was awesome! I came in there with my twin boys to get their hair braided like Steph Curry (they wanted it). Very nice salon, clean, professional and friendly. The stylist we're very nice to the twins and talk to them the whole time while braiding their hair. It was very impressive that they did not cry or whine while their hair was getting braided. They left very happy, so did I because I thought the pricing was very reasonable. I will definitely come again, and recommend them to anybody looking for a really good salon."
