Pitaya Mexican Restaurant

"Great new spot in the same location as a different restaurant. I don't understand the ratings from a few years ago. This place just opened in January of 2024. So how could those old reviews have anything to do with the current restaurant?"

"Don’t let the rating fool you, this page hasn’t fully converted over from the previous bad restaurant. This place is awesome, it’s beautiful, great music, clean, great customer service, and most importantly, amazing food. They have food I’ve never heard of before and all the classics. I honestly cannot say enough how good it is. We got tacos 10/10, we got Tlayuda oaxaqueña, also amazing and massive. Easily feeds two-3 people. I didn’t try any drinks, but can’t wait to go back for a brunch."

"Not going to lie, I was gonna leave a bad review because the price seemed really expensive for the food But the manager was super cool and nice and you can tell he cared about the establishment So I’m here to leave 4 stars because management was super great! I still think the foods a bit over priced but the management made up for it!"

"My wife and I had lunch at the newly opened Pitaya (497 Richie Hwy) today January 22, 2024. The food was good, the staff prompt and pleasant. The restaurant is clean, bright, and cheerful. If you are looking for fancy look elsewhere but this is a great spot for a family dinner or a good lunch with your spouse. They are open for Brunch, lunch and dinner and happen to be located immediately next to my favorite doughnut shop. I am not sure my wife will notice if I go out for coffee for breakfast and don’t’ come back until after lunch and then take a nap. I couldn’t ask for a better combination. I am not sure why they're so many poor reviews for this place that appears to have just (re ?) opened. Easy access from Richie Hwy... although there is limited parking we did not have a problem finding a spot. We will certainly be going back."

"I've eaten at the Severna Park location twice and both times it did not disappoint! I ordered the street tacos and they tasted authentic and delicious. Bursting with flavor! My husband ordered a burrito and he loved it! Generous portions. I do hope they serve alcohol at some point! And dim the lights for more ambience. We are big fans of the new place!"
