"I had just finished a 12 hour shift from work. I was tired, exhausted and so hungry because I had very few opportunities to eat during the day and hadn’t actually had a meal yet. Beyond that my husband decided to wait for me to eat dinner because he knows I work by Five Guys and figured I could pick it up on the way home. Well work went longer than I planned and I looked at my clock and it was 9:50 PM, Five Guys closes in 10 minutes. I got in my car, drove over there, and walked in the doors at 9:55 PM. I know, I was that customer. You know the one that shows up right before you’re supposed to close and asked for help. I have experienced them before and I felt terrible that I was the one showing up right before they closed. I walked up to the cash register and asked him if it was possible for me to still order food, and they smiled and said absolutely. They acted like it was no problem. They treated me as if I had shown up in the middle of the day to order food. They made us food. It was absolutely delicious but more importantly, they made my night by being so kind and showing such great customer service and taking care of me and my long day. I appreciate their willingness to make me dinner late at night, right before they closed without a complaint and with a smile on their faces, making the feel welcome in their business. This is by far my favorite Five Guys."
