Hip Hop Fish & Chicken

"I really wish I could select 0 stars! This hip hop chicken is by far the worst I’ve ever been to. I ordered 100 piece of mixed chicken in advance $125 just to pick it up and open it at my sons baby shower to be legs and wings. The smallest nastiest looking chicken I’ve ever seen. I called the manager and he had nerve to say they have a sign on the door to check your food. That speaks volumes that they have to have that kind of sign up! Don’t waste your time or money on this trash place!!!"

"Bought 8 peice chicken box (2 ea leg, thigh, wing, and breasts) with several side dishes. Had to wait about 30 minutes to get order. Positive: side dishes were tasty. Coleslaw, green beans, collards and mac & cheese were all favorable. Negative: Chicken was overcooked to point of being bricks and they appeared to have dumped salt on top. Chicken was very dry and overly salty. Sorry, won't be back."

"The food was great and pipen hot. The young lady that took our order barely looked up from her phone. I wanted to change my drink and the young man ask her about me switching drinks when he was getting them out the refrigerator but she was all into her phone that she was not listening to him and was telling him that the water and the Arizona was the same price. I had to correct her and make her get off her phone so I could get my change."

"Food made to order. It was Hot and fresh. I was a little sad because it was raining and the drive thru was not working so I had to go inside... 3 males working so it took longer than expected. (Or maybe that's the norm...idk this was my first time) However you get a lot of food for the price in the pick 2 combo. The drink 1/2 and 1/2 was pretty amazing. The catfish nuggets was good ..fried golden brown. The Okra was great nicely breaded not overly fried. The gizzard had a lil sweetness to them which is different than I ever had being from the south but the texture was perfect. I was not crazy about the greens but again I am very particular about how I eat greens. And they add 2 slices of bread as fillers along with coleslaw(but I did not eat that) Over all it is worth the visit if ever in the area."
