"I have been a long time customer of Andy's for 5+ years. Overall, we have a mutual respect relationship client to service tech or so I thought. I got my nails done 7/16/23. I started to notice earlier this week(7/25) that my acrylic had separated from my actual nail on one finger. Having had this problem before where water seeps in and creates a water/mold stain, I thought I'd better be proactive and get this fixed. I visited the shop today(7/27) to get it fixed. Andy could not have been more nastier to me today refusing to do the service as I offered to pay for the repair. He went on to explain about how my nails grow and he doesn't know what happened. As I explained to him, I wasn't looking to blame anyone, I just wanted to repair so further problems don't happen later. I refuse to be loud talked in a place of business where I pay MY money. He even went to the extreme of telling me not to come back because I didn't agree with him. Again, 5+ years of loyalty and committed service thrown away over refusing to repair a nail that had clearly separated from the acrylic and needed repair. I'm a client that would come in and pay $95+ for service faithfully and you try and insult and belittle me over a nail repair. I will honor his request and never return again. Horrible!!! You've been warned people! If he can treat me like this, he will do the same to you. It's our hard earned money that pays him, he doesn't pay us. When we ask for a service, grant us the respect of doing just that and this was a reasonable service. Why should it ever turn into an argument!"

"Got my nails serviced today by Andy. This is my 2nd visit. The 1st was a few years ago. Andy also serviced them back then. I am reading the reviews and wonder why I wasn't offered the complimentary wine. Next time I go, I hope it's available if still offered. Also I did not know of the other services offered because I didn't see a menu with it. I'll give 5 stars when I get my wine lol see ya soon Andy."

"I wish that I never gave this place a try. The woman at the front desk seemed very rude and rushy to me. She seemed to have been talking about me to the male tech in her language and laughing.. I really don’t know. I was trying to pick out more than one color for my gel nails and felt rushed as he started on my nails while the lady from the front desk seemed impatient waiting for me to pick my colors as I tried to compare them with a pic in my phone. The male tech cut my nails wayyy too short then I’m used too… I just couldn’t wait to leave! Then I heard another tech offer a customer a drink but nobody asked me? I don’t know if it only comes with certain services. The male tech that did my nails attitude started improving when I was almost done, but I never plan on returning to this nail salon again. I feel as though I was ripped off paying what I paid for gel nails only to not like my nails and felt rushed."

"Me and my girlfriend's went up there to get our nails and feet done it was a wonderful experience the customer service is great that people are wonderful and they play with your feet so much yes must come again and did I mention they have Refreshments yes"

"I really wish I could give this place more stars because the experience is 5 stars but the nail work I have experienced is just not up to par. This is about my 4th or 5th time coming here and my 2nd time getting my nails done here; every other time I've come here it was for a pedicure. First of all, the place is gorgeous and spotless and the customer service is perfect; it's a very luxurious experience. You are offered wine and water. My nail tech was Andy who was very nice, very friendly, and I was comfortable as his customer. My only issue is how bad my nails looked. I decided to go with whatever shape he recommended because my nail beds are pretty wide; we decided to go with round. Unfortunately, the nail shapes are not consistent, the nail tips are angled up instead of at a natural angle, the acrylic job is bumpy and bulbous, and the gel is bubbled in some areas. I still love this place, so I will get my nails done by a different tech in a few weeks and I will always come here for their extremely sanitary pedicures (they line their bowls) because they are the only salon I know in the area that gives you this experience at the reasonable price. I still recommend this as the best salon I have experienced in the Woodlawn/Gwynn Oak area."
