"This was my first dine in experience as I got take out when visiting my daughter 10 months ago. The appetizer of marsala calamari is the best dish since I've been here (since November). Everything else was delicious. The mint lemonade was just the right touch to accompany the meal."

"I am a regular customer of Jewel of India since 2019. Even though I have tried a lot of Indian Restaurants in my area but I still went back there so many times until now because their food and customer service always are excellent. That made them is more outstanding than others. Price is quite value when you compare to a quality. Too bad that Jewel of India don't have lunch buffet anymore after pandemic. The restaurant is located at Hillandale Shopping Center in White Oak, MD. Spacious outdoor parking lots are available for free. Large dining room and interior are elegant, nice atmosphere and feel comforted."

"We wanted to try a new Indian restaurant and went there based on the reviews. I think the food is average and the service is okay too. We had to ask several times several items, and they delayed giving those items. However, the ambiance is very good. We ordered several items. The chicken 65, chat, and nan were good, but everything else was okay. Malai kofta and chicken Tikka masala was supposed to be a little sweet, and it wasn't and lacked the taste. Overall, it was okay."

"Before I even get to the food I want to mention the service. It was absolutely amazing and professional. Each and every staff member was attentive and willing to help, no 1 waiter to x tables here, each staff member is willing and able to assist you and they are prim and proper while doing it. The appetizer I had (a cold crisp spinach and veggies dish) was a little underwhelming, especially at the cost. The entree, on the other hand, lamb rogan josh was delicious. I would've liked a touch more rice but other than that the meal on the whole was very good. I like Indian food a lot and this place is easily in my top 5 in recent memory. Definitely worth stopping in."
