"Beautiful trail along an old railroad. Historic figures used to travel here and the trail is private. You can gain free access with a QR code at the front. Wonderful people care for this trail and it is clean and available for public use. You can use a picnic table and BBQ grill there, and see a decrepit train. Very calm vibe, almost eerie, but lots of people frequent the trail so you feel safe. It's a bit uneven, would not recommend for a wheel chair unless you have a strong person pushing it. The trail is not super wide, but two people can fit easily on it. It's a flat simple hike, but I only went a couple miles out. I guess it goes pretty far if you care to enjoy it further. It's cool to see the train, I wondered if they allow people to see inside ever. It's under video surveillance so I didn't peak inside and I doubt they want people to. Looks unsafe to climb. The trail is safe for all ages and experience levels. Worth a little trip away from the city on a foggy day. Be sure to take your phone for QR code access. You can drop it back in your car before heading out. Ample parking past the train at the gate. You can even build a fire in the pit if you like."
"This is a private Trail that is open and free to use. There is a permit required, and you can scan a QR code at the trail head with the green sign. Its really easy and can be done in 2 minutes. Its good for at least 1 year. I did not hike the entire length, only 10 miles out and back. Great views, various water ways. Be careful at the road crossings."
"A fantastic grassroots maintained trail. Mostly straight and flat but the surroundings and the variations and trail surface keep it interesting. I saw very few other users on my trip but remember to apply for your permit which you can do with the QR code at the trailhead."
"This is one of my favorite trails in the area. It's the perfect terrain for biking or walking and it goes on for MILES. It's a very flat trail and there's a decent amount of room on it. The people whose properties are on the sides of it seem very protective, and the sign that appears next to the trail on Lambs Creek Church Road that says "no trespassing violators will be shot" rubs me the wrong way. Like no one want to go on your land sweetie, keep your guns that you own because you have an inferiority complex to yourself."
"Lovely, quiet trail. I only went a mile and a half the first time (3 miles there and back), but next time I come here I plan to go further. There is a fire pit, grill, and two picnic tables made by the boy scouts if you'd like to picnic, which is nice. After my walk I stopped to sit and enjoy a little peace."
