"I’ve been a regular client here a while with little to no complaints. Ana is the sweetest and really cares about the quality of her work and thankfully her prices are on the lower end for us naturals with long hair. However, I am still horrified from the recent time I left this salon. One of the wash girls (didn’t catch her name) ended up doing my full style (blow dry and flat iron). At no point was it communicated to me that she thought i’d need a trim, but she proceeds to cut 4 inches off of my hair without any kind of permission. The worst part, it’s extremely uneven and visibly so. She lied to Ana telling her she explained I needed it and blamed me for not understanding her English. This just wasn’t true, she never uttered a word in english or spanish about plans to cut my hair. Regardless if somebody doesn’t want their hair cut, then don’t cut their hair ESPECIALLY if you can’t get it straight or presentable. I do not feel comfortable sitting in anyone’s chair at this salon anymore unless it’s Ana because she does not cut people’s hair off without their permission. I was charged full price for this service."

"Ms. Ana and her staff were very nice and informative. My daughter and I were much overdue for a trim so decided to get our hair trimmed, deep conditioned, and flat ironed. We are both natural so I usually don't put heat to our hair but I just washed my hair (2 wks later) and my natural thickness returned. Curly bouncy as always. We will definitely be back for a trim and wrap at least twice a yr if not more frequently. THANK YOU MS. ANA..."

"Update: 1/20/23 After growing my natural hair for 5 years. I trusted this salon in getting my first silk press and now my hair is damaged to the point that I have to start over. 12/31/22 This was my first and last time coming to this salon. I am a licensed cosmetologist so I understand how things are supposed to be, and I decided to try a new salon for the first time. Let’s keep in mind, that I have 4c hair while I tell you my experience. The shampoo woman did not protect my clothes with a waterproof apron, all I received was a towel on my shoulder and a towel on my chest. She started to brush MY 4C HAIR DRY until I complained about it. She was also having side conversations and not paying attention while I was in the shampoo station. She didn’t wash my hair properly, but instead was rough and cut my skin with her fingernails and water kept splashing on my face. I guess my hair was too much for her to detangle because she only focused on the surface. After that she used the same wet towel that she used to dry my hair to place on my shoulder for my blow dry session. I was shocked because water was still dripping from my hair on to my face and clothes. The next stylist that started blow drying my hair didn’t use heat protection and was using a rat tail or braiding comb with small teeth to comb through my hair as she was blow drying it. They all saw the frustration on my face and Ana suggested I go sit under the dryer for a few mins before I come back to the stylist chair. The stylist kept the clips in my hair while I went under the dryer, which prevented some sections of my hair to dry properly. When I came back, the stylist did a rushed job with everything. I asked for a middle part and it was off. I brought it to her attention and she tried to fix it but she didn’t really do a good job. Before I could even say anything, she said “Okay I’m done” and WALKED AWAY and sat in Ana’s chair to get her hair done. I didn’t make a scene, but I will never come back to this salon again. I thought I found a salon home, but I can see they were just trying to hurry me up so that they can get to their New Year’s Eve activities."

"Today was my first visit, and I'm so pleased with the experience! Ana is AWESOME all about healthy hair care. The young lady who assist her has a pleasant attitude. Great atmosphere and location. Ana took her time to learn what I wanted done to my hair and she also shared great advice for me to maintain excellent healthy hair at home. I'll definitely be letting her do my hair again."
