"Went for the karaoke and was entertained. I didn't eat but the atmosphere was awesome. Especially for 1st responders. They helped with get thru some grief, as we lost our brothers so recently. #BCFDstrong."
"Awesome spot, I have lived near it for a while and never went. They have two pool tables and a nice large bar with great seating. They also have plenty of tables to sit at as well."
"Kristen is always a welcome face when you walk in. She makes sure you are taken care of and your beverages are good and cold."
"I just walked into Firehouse to pick up a bottle of vodka. It’s the only place nearby that is open on Sundays, so I’ve been a few times. When I was paying for my bottle, a staff member told me “I will let you buy this time, but not ever again.” At this point I am extremely confused. He then shows me a photo from their security camera of an overweight white woman with blonde hair in an orange orioles shirt and says “this is you.” I tell him, no that’s not me. I am a brunette with tons of gray hair because I don’t color it. He continues to tell me that it looks like it’s me and tells me she stole from them. There were people in line behind me who I motioned to to look at the picture because it was clearly not me. I was really embarrassed and upset at this point and was being accused of stealing. The people in line were some stand up citizens who looked away and wouldn’t even look at the photo to help me. Needless to say, I won’t be returning after being accused of being a thief. Unbelievable."
"Tl;dr - Not a bad place to stop for lunch or dinner. More of a bar than a restaurant. Food is hit or miss. Kinda got the vibe walking in that this place was more of a "locals come here twice a week" vibe. It has a firehouse theme (obviously) and as such most of the decor is themes around firefighters and such. This wouldn't bother me if it wasn't for the fact that a number of different wall fixtures were hanging loose looking like they could fall at any moment combined with several spots in the walls where clearly there was once something affixed. As for the food: the crab pretzel was AMAZING. It's a dish I try everywhere I can find it and this place genuinely has one of the best I've ever had. Top 3 at least. I also got the Cajun Burger which unfortunately left much to be desired. With a name like that I expected to at least TASTE the Cajun seasoning which was clearly on there. (I could see it, not taste it.) Not to mention the beef patty itself had barely any flavor that I wonder if it was seasoned at all. Lastly, the steak fries I had as a side were very good, though my friend had a problem with them being too greasy. Service was ok. Our server (I'm sorry, I forget her name) was very friendly, polite and checked in regularly enough. The only complaint there is that we had to go out of our way when it was time for the check because she seemingly disappeared. I assume this was due to the fact that nearly everyone was up at the bar."
