Reviews
"Absolutely the cheapest place buy alcohol lkoved Shabbos"
"Amazing prices on all beverages. Always stocked and never gives any issues. Highly recommended as all places around charge significantly higher prices. The shop itself could use a remodeling, but I can forgive that as the prices make it worth it."
"You can get in and out within five minutes. The cashiers are very helpful and knowledgeable about their products."
"Basically, the customer service sucks! This review is based on multiple visits over time. I don't give low-rated reviews out lightly or impetuously. This review is based on my experiences in the packaged-goods side on the business. Like many times, the other night, I stopped in this place because it was convenient to me. I figured I'd give it another shot. I went in to play the lottery. I went up to the corner of the counter-window where the lottery machine is, and said, " Hey, good evening!" with a smile (loud enough to be heard over the surrounding noise, making sure the guy bending down, looking at some stock under the counter, could hear me). The guy glanced at me with an unfriendly look, never responded and continued to do what he was doing. I stood there for a few more moments and left, after he didn't stand up or utter a word of greeting or say he'd be with me shortly or something. This is typical of the type of interaction I've experienced in this place. I've stood and watched similar interactions with other patrons, various times. Their service always seems labored and annoyed. They seem to be much more bothered by their customers than thankful for their business. This was my last time giving this place a chance. I've got much more self-respect than that. Convenience isn't worth disrespect and mistreatment. They're just ill-mannered and rude. There's no use talking to/arguing with people like this. It's much better to just go elsewhere. Not tolerating this type of foolishness in our neighborhoods means just not giving them our business. I'm all for supporting neighborhood businesses, but not at all costs. If ownership, or others in ownership/management (if these guys behind the counter have ownership stake) don't agree with treating patrons like this, then they should make changes in how their business is represented and treats customers. To my knowledge, I've never done anything to these people. Although, it definitely feels that way-crazy. I gave two stars, not one because the place is neat and clean and the prices are decent and I'm a fair person."
"Had to change my review. Sam, the owner I think, found a solution to the problem I had. I was charged for a bottle and the first charge didn't show up in their system. So, I had to pay for the bottle a second time to receive it. I showed them exactly what happened, but since the charge was pending, they told me there was nothing they could do until it went through because the charge may disappear. System error. Sam reached out to me personally to investigate the situation and find a solution. He offered to give me the bottle again or to refund me for the charge. Thanks, Sam Also, they have pretty good prices and are the only place in the area licensed to be open till 2 am"
