"Burrell Inn: A Place Where Smoked Chicken Wings Take on a Whole New Meaning Let me tell you a tale of the Burrell Inn, formerly known as the Welcome Inn. It's a place where the chicken wings are seasoned to perfection, the hot pepper cheese balls are genuinely fiery, and the bar food could make a grown man weep tears of joy. But, let's not stop there. The Burrell Inn also serves a complimentary side of secondhand smoke with every meal. It's like a smoky barbecue joint, except the BBQ is your lungs. And trust me, it's not just a smoky eye look you'll be leaving with, it's a full-blown smoky wardrobe and black lung. Let me introduce you to (I’m told) is “M” and “L” (real names or not), they are the Bonnie and Clyde of the Burrell Inn. Notorious for their fiery arguments that are spicier than the buffalo chicken. Their drama could give daytime soap operas a run for their money and adds to the unique "charm" of the place. If you think the smoke is chasing people away, these two are telling you “hold my beer” (no pun intended). In conclusion, the Burrell Inn is a place where culinary delights meet a scene straight out of a Tarantino movie. It's got the potential to relive its glorious past, but right now, it's like a reality TV show: entertaining in small doses but can be a bit much if you're looking for a quiet night out. Here's hoping they clear the air and clean house, literally and figuratively in order to get back the customer base that they’ve lost!"
"Best wings around for past 30+ years still."
"Best wings place in the area, bar none. The original wings are awesome, but I also like Jamaican jerk. Big meaty juicy wings with the best seasoning. Everyone knows Burrell Inn is the best. It's connected to a bar so you get some cigarette smell, but still worth it. This last time we ate outside in the little courtyard. It's cozy out there and fun. Plus you avoid the bar smoke. If you're looking for the best chicken wings, look no farther. You won't leave hungry."
"I really like the whole seasoned wings and their cheese steak hoagies. If you can't take cigarette smoke then you'll want to keep in mind that it manages to infiltrate the seating areas outside the bar."
"Our food was very good but the service was fantastic. Probably the best service we've had in quite a while. Our waitress was very attentive and we didn't have a long wait for anything. Thank you! We'll be back again."
