"Our server Tracy was Top Notch but the food was sub par. Filet Mignon was cold along with the side of fries. Others at our table had issues as well. Ordered Filet med well is came out Med rare, sent it back, they cooked a fresh steak it came under done as well. Wouldn't go back."

"The Bowman has been a family favorite for many, many years. Today we had a family lunch/meeting and all six of us had fabulous lunches. I don’t know that any other restaurant has as fine a cream of crab soup as The Bowman. Everyone ordered it and we almost licked the bowl. Well, it was only me who wanted to like the bowl. All of our meals were total enjoyed too. The service as usual was fantastic. Sally, our server, was knowledgeable, helpful, personable and patient with us. 5 stars for Sally"

"Went on a packed Thursday night. Quick service was followed by yummy food, delivered by the owner. We enjoyed soup, Austin beef, potstickers, and ribs. My out-of-town guest was thrilled. Highly recommended."

"My friend and I enjoyed our lunch yesterday at the Bowman . The food and drinks were all well made, generous amounts and delicious. Our server, Trudy was a pleasure too. She was friendly, efficient, polite and knowledgeable of the menu. Qualities that seem to be hard to find in restaurant servers the past few years.. Been going to the Bowman since it opened. Really happy to see that it is back to being the great neighborhood restaurant that it had been for years.. we will definitely be back. Thanks again to all for an very enjoyable meal"

"The food was great! Loved everything I got. Even the hot bread was delicious. Everything was so well seasoned and the portions were large enough to have ample leftovers. The dessert was simply excellent too, I got the double chocolate cake. My friends got the chicken alfredo and brownie sundays and they enjoyed that as well, large portions so you def get your money’s worth. Prices are reasonable, plenty of seafood options. My sticking point was with service. Def was hit or miss. Also Wish they had heaters for the outdoor patio, we sat outside and it chilly especially with the fall winds and the zippers not closing. Our waitress wasn’t as attentive or welcoming as I would desire or expect; we moved tables and had to actually move the tables and chairs! they didn’t really clean off our table as we finished things, & had to keep asking for small things, like a spoon, napkins etc. wasn’t very busy inside so I’m not too sure why. Overall would recommend dining to go, or possibly going somewhere else if you had a choice."
