"The people who work here demonstrate the utmost in true customer service. They treat you like family. My partner and I read that their closing time was an hour later than the restaurant's actual hours on some website, but the manager was so warm and friendly, and said "Part of my kitchen is still open if you would like to come in and have some dinner." They seated us and gave us the full treatment and the bartender was practically encouraging us to stay. I can't emphasize enough how kind, generous, patient, thoughtful, warm, polite, and personable all the staff here were. The food was hot and incredible, the drinks were perfect, and there wasn't so much as a hint of feeling rushed. This is my new favorite Mexican restaurant, and one of my favorite restaurants in the area, period, because no one can top their customer service. My partner let me know this wasn't an exception because he'd been here previously, and they were just as wonderful. Thank you so much to everyone at Mezcal! You are one of the few places that exist that even tries to compete at your level. I'm so looking forward to seeing you again!"

"UPDATE - Stopped in for lunch. Today I ordered the Birria Tacos which came with a side of rice and refried beans. All of it was DELICIOUS! My only complaint was the chips they served me. They must've come from the bottom of the bag because there may have been 2 unbroken chips in the whole bowl! Mostly chip pieces. I didn't raise a stink since the tacos were so good, but c'mon guys... My new favorite Mexican restaurant! Best fish tacos I've had in a long time. My dining companion said the guacamole (made tableside) was the best he'd EVER had!! We will DEFINITELY be back."

"Mommy family of 8 attended dinner here on a Saturday evening around 7pm , it was not too crowded which was good. We were seated fast, our waiter came about 10 minutes later. He spoke really fast but we knew what we wanted, after taking our orders he literally snatched the menus out of our hands moving very fast as if they were overly crowded. A nice young lady brought out chips an salsa which is free I believe. Our drinks came out and here he goes again moving extremely fast no straws we had to wait for about 20 minutes and asked someone else for straws. The good took about 40 minutes to come out the waiter sat the food down and ran off no napkins no forks, again we had to wait until so ribs else walked past to get silverware and napkins, i ordered barria tacos it came with a side of yellow rice and beans, most of my rice was dried and stuck to the plate and were cold, my beans had a dry film over it meaning they were sitting out and was cold as well , my birria sauce was room temp and very very bland I was sooooo dissatisfied and disappointed as me n my wife spoke of going here for months! The food was awful the birria meat was tender but zero flavor smh. After we were all done he collected all of our stuff almost rushing us to pass the plates and cups to him wth! After that he went missing for 35 minutes we were simply waiting for the bill. My wife had to find someone on two different occasions asking for the bill, after about 10 minutes he shows up with the bill I did not want to tip him at all but we had a big table so I saw it fair to do so, but noticed there was an automatic gratuity added already for 53$ smh food was already expensive and we were charged for queso 5$ for about a ounce and it was very watery. Not to mention my 19 year old son ordered what he thought was a ice blend smoothie and it was a alcohol beverage lol he didn’t ask for Id or anything, it was 15$ my son didn’t drink it. I’m not sure if I’ll go again, I love Hispanic cuisine and this made me very upset that night as the bill was almost 300$ for terrible food and service !"
