"It’s quiet and family friendly on Potomac river!!"
"I think I just found a new favorite sunset spot. This is one of the most beautiful waterfront parks in the area. I love finding beautiful places to watch the sunset & I was just blown away. There are so many eagle’s nests there. I was blown away seeing eagles in person. The view from the piers captures your attention & takes away some of the stress of the every day world."
"Has a pier for fishing or just enjoy soaking in the sun rays or watching the speed boats splash in the distance. Great scenery in the sunlit day, near the dog park, recreation center and outdoor archery center, also has hiking trails nearby."
"I used to run here, and it is a great natural preserve. A nesting ground for the state bird- the Culiseta longiareolata. The best time to go is in the summer and you can see flocks of this majestic beast dining on their favorite meal - the retiree, who also shares this habitat. The retiree can be seen engaging in its migratory pattern of lumbering slowly in circles."
"Running trail, fishing, easy canoe launch, piers for fishing and dog park. Camper park, outdoor recreation facility and bow range co-located. Great place for a picknick lunch/dinner or photography. Lot of foxes, osprey and other animals. Beavers pass the point every evening at dusk. The park is well maintained and you need a military ID to access the base."
